At Lady Edith’s Holiday Park, you have a welcoming family friendly bar next to a play area, making this fun for everyone. North Bay Beach sweeps in a crescent lined with colourful beach huts with the Sea Life Centre at the far end. You can walk from the North Bay all the way along the promenade to the busier South Bay. Peasholm Park is wonderful to discover, you can hire pedalos and rowing boats to go around the lake and see the stunning oriental gardens. Scarborough is famous for its theatres. There is an outdoor theatre which stages concerts by some of music’s big names, and then there is the Stephen Joseph Theatre which is famous for the premieres of Alan Ayckbourn’s plays. The Alpamare waterpark is great for all ages, with its fantastic wave pool and waterslides, as well as a large heated outdoor infinity pool. Keep younger children entertained with the ’splash and play’ area. For adults there is a spa where you can relax and be pampered. The heated outdoor pools are warm enough to enjoy through all of the seasons. Further along the coast you also have Ravenscar, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Bridlington to discover. The holiday park is well equipped to entertain and delight guests all year round. With a heated indoor swimming pool, which has public sessions as well as private bookable sessions so you can have the luxury of having the entire pool to yourselves. There is also a gym, sauna and hot tub, for guests use. The family bar is spacious and has entertainment on certain nights throughout the week, as well as showcasing Sky Sports. There is a great beer garden looking out onto the children’s play area, as well as a pool table, making this a fun social space for everyone. The site is just 8 miles from the centre of Filey which has a wonderful stretch of beach that goes for over 5 miles down the coast. The seaside town of Filey has been visited for generations by lots of families attracted by the beach and the traditional seaside resort. The cobble landing leads down to the Filey Brigg where you see many children rock pooling. On the clifftops is the end of the Cleveland Way walk, with many a weary walker sitting on the clifftops after completing the walk. The walks among the clifftops are stunning and some of the best available down the East Coast. To the south you have the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs, and you’ll see all the migrating birds from puffins to guillemots and kittiwakes. The seaside resorts of Scarborough, Flamborough Head and Bridlington are just a short drive away.
Scarborough has two glorious beaches with a castle on the cliff top in-between, you also have the oriental gardens at Peasolm park, the Sealife Centre and one of Europe’s largest open air theatres which a great line up during the summer months. Stardust is an exceptional seafront property, it is spacious and beautifully furnished throughout, ensuring you have an idyllic stay by the coast. With offroad parking on the driveway at the front of the property, steps lead you up to the front door where you have elevated views over the sea. Stepping inside the hallway leads you to the spacious modern kitchen, which is open plan with the dining area. The dining table is a great size for enjoying meals together, and with the large leather sofa in this room it’s the perfect social space where you can all plan the days ahead whilst cooking and prepping.
