    Church View is a delightful semi-detached property situated in the heart of the historic market town of Alnwick. Aptly named, this immaculately presented house sits adjacent to the imposing St Paul’s Church and enjoys lovely views. The living/dining room is on the ground floor and leads to a bright and airy conservatory overlooking the well maintained enclosed garden. The kitchen has been decorated and has many integral appliances and smart granite work surfaces, and is also on the ground floor. All three bedrooms and a family bathroom are on the first floor. There is also the convenience of en-suite shower facilities to the master bedroom too, and good quality bed linen and towels are supplied.
    Church View sits back from the hustle and bustle of the town centre and has the benefit of its own private parking, yet there is a wide selection of amenities all within a gentle stroll. There is an array of independent shops and a variety of pubs available within walking distance. Golf is also available less than a mile away. Close by is Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland (and film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts!) and the spectacular grounds of Alnwick Gardens, a 12-acre visitor attraction, including the grand cascade waterfall and world famous poison garden. Visitors can also dine in the restaurant of the largest tree house in Europe alongside the world’s largest play structure, “Lilidorei”.. Head west towards the picturesque small town of Rothbury which nestles at the foot of the heather capped Cheviot Hills. Or travel east towards the coastline and explore the stunning 20-mile stretch of Heritage coastline designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.     Bramble Cottage is situated in the highly sought after traditional fishing village of Craster. The accommodation is immaculately presented throughout and enjoys a lovely homely ambience. The tastefully furnished living room, which has a wood burner for those cosy nights in, leads to a separate dining room with traditional hatch connecting to the kitchen. All three beautifully presented bedrooms are situated on the first floor along with a pristine family bathroom. The cottage sits at the end of a terrace only a gentle stroll from Craster sea shore. The lovely garden is full of mature shrubs and flowers and has a patio area suitable for dining al fresco. There is also a gorgeous summer house (The Beach Hut), an idyllic spot to snuggle in and relax. Bramble Cottage is a mere gentle stroll from the seashore of Craster. This picturesque coastal village is home to the renowned ‘Craster Kipper’; a smoked fish exported to food lovers across the country. Bramble Cottage has a private and gated drive for one vehicle only. If guests plan to bring a second vehicle or have visitors then the only option for this is the public car park, which is 220 yards away by foot and which costs £6.50 per day per car to park. This car park will become busy during peak periods, and there is no other public parking in the village.
    There is a small, pretty harbour close by with a view northward along the rocky shore to the spectacular ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle. Explore the 20 miles of Northumberland Heritage Coastline recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its walking trails and cycling routes. The welcoming village of Embleton is only 3 miles north with its wide sweep of golden sandy beach which has won the public poll of ‘Beach of the Year’ in the 2017 BBC Countryfile Magazine Awards. Beadnell Bay is a further 4 miles north and a popular destination for water-sports enthusiasts, including sailing, sea kayaking, wind surfing and scuba diving. Two miles further up the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony, depart regularly from its harbour. The picture perfect village of Bamburgh, snuggled in the shadow of its majestic castle is a further 3 miles north. Just 7 miles inland from Bramble Cottage is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle (and film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Academy). Visitors can enjoy a trip to Alnwick Garden, a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden including the Grand Cascade waterfall and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe.     On entering the property, you are greeted by a contemporary designed living room with a modern wall mounted fire and plush sofas. Heading towards the back of the property brings you to a lovely kitchen/dining room where the designated chef will have all the appliances needed to cook a hearty meal for the whole family to enjoy while sitting around the sociable dining table. Head outside and finish off you’re evening with a bottle of wine and take advantage of the fabulous garden equipped with garden furniture and a firepit for those chillier evenings. The large garden is also a great area for your furry friends to have some fun and let off some steam!
    After an enjoyable evening, retire to one of the three effortlessly presented bedrooms, all offering luxury and quality with robes waiting for each guest.     Seahouses welcomes you and offers a wide array of tearooms, restaurants, pubs and shops within walking distance. Boat trips run from the nearby harbour to the Farne Islands, famous for their nesting seabirds and grey seal colonies. The picture postcard village of Bamburgh, dominated by its majestic castle, is only 2 miles north, where there is a wide expanse of golden, and often empty sandy beaches. The tidal island of Lindisfarne, locally known as Holy Island, can be seen from the beach and is accessible via a causeway twice daily. A further 2 miles up the coastline brings you to Waren Mill, which is steeped in history. Once an important port, its harbour has long since disappeared, silted up beneath the sands of the estuary. Budle Bay is a bird sanctuary and at low tide a vast expanse of mud flats is home to thousands of sea and land birds, making this location a haven for bird watchers.
    Harry Potter fans can head to the historic market town of Alnwick to the incredible Alnwick Castle, one of the largest inhabited castles in the UK and used as Hogwarts when filming scenes for the Harry Potter films so it’s a must-visit for any fans, with Harry Potter related events organised here throughout the year as well as guided tours. The Alnwick Garden is also an exciting visit with its spectacular interpretation of a formal garden, including the Grand Cascade waterfall, poison garden and largest tree house in Europe where guests can dine in the restaurant.
