The Wenlock Edge links Much Wenlock with Church Stretton, the only market town in this AONB. Walking, fishing, horse riding and a number of NT properties are all available locally, and a short drive will take you into local towns such as Shrewsbury, Church Stretton, Ludlow, Ironbridge and Bridgnorth, and in less than 15 miles you can cross over the border into mid Wales.
