The Cider Barn is decorated and furnished to a very high standard by the owners who have years of experience in the hospitality industry, and the attention to detail is evident in every room.
Downstairs is a fabulous open plan living space, with wonderful Bi-folding doors that open to allow the outside in and giving you great views over the Blackdown hills. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need and the island unit opens it up to the rest of the room, so you can socialise while creating your next culinary masterpiece! The large Master bedroom on the ground floor has a stunning four-poster bed and en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower, while upstairs the second large bedroom features a wonderful kingsize bespoke bed, beautiful beamed vaulted ceiling and statement lighting. There is also a shower room upstairs with walk-in shower.
Outside you will find a Mediterranean style covered seating area complete with its own chandelier, barbecue area and private hot tub, all soaking up the wonderful views!
Set in the lovely village of Bishopswood, with the Somerset Wildlife Trust running adjacent to the property, you are only 5-minutes’ walk from the local pub and surrounded by miles of beautiful walks. The market town of Honiton is just 10 miles away and the beach at Lyme Regis can be reached within a 30-minute drive. Heading north, you will find the county town of Taunton with lots of restaurants, cinema, bowling and shopping, and within an hour’s drive you will find Glastonbury, Street, Minehead and the moors of Exmoor! Beach 18 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

Moorlands is a wonderful holiday home located in the charming village of Chilcompton, refurbished in 2022 to provide luxurious accommodation, perfect for all the family!


Pull into your driveway where Moorlands awaits you, step inside the hallway where the vaulted double height ceiling floods the room with light. There is a piano and reading nook to be enjoyed here.


The spacious living, dining and kitchen areas are open plan with wonderful views from the large patio doors over the garden. The living area has stunning feature wallpaper, lighting, comfortable yet stylish seating and an awesome real flame gas fireplace.


The dining area has a large table with ample seating and statement lighting while the fabulous well-equipped kitchen which includes a boiling water tap, wine fridge and designer extractor, shows the high level of fixtures and fittings you can expect. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with en-suite facilities, and a door leading to the garden with a terrace, perfect for your morning cuppa.


A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer can be found on the ground floor.


Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms which all lead off the galleried landing, one is a super king size bed which can be twin beds on request, one with a king size bed, one with double bed and another with double bed and single bunk on top. The two family bathrooms can be found on this floor, one with a large walk-in shower and the other, a large walk-in shower and stunning stone pebble shaped bath. Both bathrooms have been finished to the highest standard and offer luxury living. A hot tub can be hired (at a cost) with prior arrangement with the owner giving an extra feel of luxury to enjoy a little bit of R&R.


Heading outside, the extremely large garden is mainly laid to lawn, with 2 wonderful seating areas to enjoy. There is space for all the family to play endless games while around the side is a lovely vegetable garden which guests are welcome to use, and a hot and cold dog wash is provided for your convenience. A beautiful river runs around the garden of the property and care has been taken to enclose the garden, but children and animals should be supervised at all times.


Set between the cities of Bath and Wells, you will never tire of things to do while staying here! Bath with its fabulous architecture, riverside cafes, boutique shops and spas is a delightful day out, as is England’s smallest cathedral city of Wells with its outdoor market, cafés, and restaurants. Glastonbury is within easy reach with its ancient medieval charm and Tor, where you can see for miles and miles from the top. Head to Street’s designer outlet, Clarks Village, and grab a bargain. Wookey Hole Caves are a great day out for all the family and Cheddar Gorge and caves makes for a great day and has cheese, what more could you ask for! Pub and restaurant 704 yards.

On the outskirts of South Barrow and set in a peaceful scenic country location between Castle Cary and Yeovil, these two single-storey barn conversions, The Cottage (ref 27191) and The Barn (ref UKC2481) make ideal bases from which to explore south and central Somerset. Both are well presented, with lovely country views, and are the perfect places in which to relax and unwind. When choosing The Cottage or The Barn, you will have the luxury of your very own private hot tub, and The Cottage benefits from a cosy wood burner and underfloor heating in the shower room/bathroom.

On the doorstep you can visit the famous Haynes Motor Museum with its superb collection of classic cars; Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum with its exciting aircraft carrier deck experience and huge collection of naval planes, and many historic houses such as Montacute House. Slightly further afield are stunning Stourhead House and Gardens. Within easy driving are Glastonbury Tor, the designer outlet of Clarks Village, Wells cathedral city and the West Somerset Steam Railway, all of which offer great days out. Other family days out include Longleat House and Safari Park, Cheddar Gorge, Wokey Hole or exploring the world famous Jurassic Coast. Welcome to Whitney Cottage, a fabulous holiday home set in the wonderful Somerset village of Horton. Enter through the gate into your garden, which wraps around the house providing multiple seating areas, your own summerhouse with seating as well as your private hot tub, tucked neatly away giving you the utmost privacy while allowing you to enjoy your surroundings. Step inside where everything is on the ground floor, catering to all ages and abilities. The warm and bright living room has lovely comfortable sofas and a gas fire, perfect for those cooler evenings, however in the summer throw open the French doors and let the warm breeze flow in. A 7-minute drive is another pub which serves a wonderful mix of traditional English and Caribbean foods. You will be spoilt for choice with things to do while staying at Whitney Cottage, with miles of walks from your doorstep exploring Somerset’s countryside. Venture further afield to one of the many National Trust properties nearby such as Montacute House and Barrington Court. The Jurassic Coast and Lyme Regis can be reached in around 30 minutes’, walk along the promenade, grab an ice cream and sunbathe, or head to Charmouth for some fossil hunting in the famous Jurassic Cliffs!

The kitchen area is well equipped and has granite worktops, an electric hob and full-sized oven, fridge with freezer compartment and a microwave, allowing you to cook a meal at any time of day and then relax on the sofa with a glass of wine or a cuppa! The shower room has been finished to the same high standard, with a large electric shower and heated towel rail for your comfort. There is a working equestrian facility to the rear and if you can bear to tear yourself away, then you are within driving distance of many superb attractions in south Somerset. From the moment you drive through the gates, up the private driveway and Dronefield Lodge appears, you will know your holiday has begun in style!
The property now benefits from modern fly/insect screens which has been fitted on every window and door to make your stay more comfortable. Enter the large open plan Kitchen/Dining room/Lounge. The high-end kitchen features electric hob, double ovens, built in microwave, fridge freezer, washer/dryer, and dishwasher as well as a breakfast bar, while the dining area has a large table with seating for 11 and the lounge has a Smart TV and comfortable seating. Off the dining area are three ground floor bedrooms, one being a master with king-size bed and en-suite shower room, a double bedroom and a further single bedroom; there is also a large bathroom with bath and separate walk-in shower.

Closer to Dronefield, there are walks in every direction, perfect for your four-legged family members to enjoy, or head to Langport and stroll along the River Parrett and the Somerset Levels.

Welcome to Crickledown, a gorgeous detached holiday home, perfect for families to get together for some quality time in a fabulous space and location! When you pull into the driveway and Crickledown appears in front of you, you will fall in love straight away.

Inside this large, yet wonderfully laid out home, you have a beautiful entrance way with feature staircase and chandelier, a huge lounge with superb fireplace and woodburning stove, Smart TV and French doors leading to the garden. A second lounge/snug has a Smart TV and is a great space for the kids to have their own fun. The spacious Kitchen has a large Aga for cooking, electric hob, dishwasher and fridge as well as a breakfast area. Off the kitchen is the grand dining room with plenty of seating for everyone. From the kitchen you also have access to the utility room with large fridge/freezer and washing machine. Crickledown is set in the village of High Ham, just 3 miles from Langport. The Somerset levels are easily accessible as are many of Somersets other attractions. The towns of Taunton, Yeovil and Glastonbury are reached in under 30 minutes by car, with the latter being of note for its ancient historical links and of course the Tor which can be seen from Crickledowns windows. National Trust properties abound nearby and a fun day out for the family can be had on the West Somerset Steam Railway which runs from Bishops Lydeard to the seaside town of Minehead.
