Located on a working farm, Feltham’s Cottage (ref UK42324) and The Organic Cabin (UK42325) are both surrounded by nature, and you can interact with the farm as much or as little as you like. Ideal for children, as you can roam across the owners 22 acres of land, play in the haystacks in the barn, climb the tree house and also help feed the animals. You can relax outside in the shared garden that backs onto the stable yard, or take a splash in the owner’s natural pool which is fed by soft rainwater, kept clean by hornwort plants that oxygenate the water, this is available all year round. The owners also have a nature trail too, and as this is a Dark Sky area, it is amazing for star gazing as there is very little light pollution.
Feltham’s Cottage has an open-plan living/dining room where you can play retro board games like Scrabble, Monopoly and cards, or watch one of the many classic DVDs available. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, whilst upstairs are two bedrooms and a family bathroom. The owners favour environmentally sustainable furniture and food, so everything you receive from them will be locally sourced, and where possible organic. A welcome hamper is provided, and includes eggs, some local cider from Oliver Dowding, and milk, tea, and coffee.
With beautiful rural views of the Blackmore Vale, Horsington is a quiet Somerset village. Close by there is Pevlings Riding School, Sherborne with its 1000-year-old abbey, the contemporary art gallery Hauser & Wirth in Bruton, and mythical Glastonbury is just 30 minutes’ away. There are great walking routes, fishing and cider picking all within 10 minutes’ of Feltham’s Farm.

And nature lovers will be truly spoilt for choice too. Stepping inside, on the ground floor you will find a cosy lounge with wood burner, perfect for chillier evenings, and comfortable seating to relax in after a day exploring the area, together with Freeview TV. The wonderfully light and modern kitchen/diner comes extremely well equipped with a second Freeview TV, plus everything you need for a wonderful home-cooked meal, with an electric oven, gas 5 burner hob, and dishwasher. There’s also a utility room with a fridge/freezer, wine cooler, and washing machine.

Heading upstairs you will find the family bathroom with a P-shape bath and shower plus a heated towel rail. The bedrooms have all been decorated in calming colours for a restful night’s sleep and have plenty of storage and hanging space. The master bedroom has a king size bed, bedroom two has a double while bedroom three has a single bed.

Outside, the south-facing garden, with two decks, is a great size and is mainly lawned, perfect for your two and four-legged family to let off some steam running around and playing games. Speaking of which, at the bottom of the garden you will find the games cabin with table tennis and a decked area with a table, chairs, a corner sofa, for relaxing, firepit and barbecue for your alvfresco dining! Head into the cosy games cabin when the sun goes down.

A fantastic holiday home located just a short walk from Minehead’s town centre and beautiful seafront, with sandy beach and harbour, surrounded by shops and an award-winning Indian restaurant, 2-minute walk. Local pubs are a 5-minute walk giving you the option to leave the car on the driveway and explore on foot. Hire bikes, paddle boards and kayaks from Channel Adventures on the seafront.

Minehead Golf Course, founded in 1882, is Somerset’s oldest and is open all year round. Minehead is also a bustling seaside resort with plenty of things to do and there are many shops, bars, and restaurants to sample as well as three supermarkets within a 5-minute walk! Take time to explore, get lost and find hidden rivers, old-fashioned tea rooms and country pubs. The village of Dunster has its beach, plus its castle and cobbled streets are a must-do while here. Dunster by candlelight in December is a magical experience! Drive along the coast and spend time in Porlock, ride the cliff railway that links Lynton and Lynmouth or wander around Watchet. Exeter is just over an hour away and Taunton is 45 minutes. You’ll be spoilt for choice with things to do while staying at The Warblers! Beach ½ mile. Pub and restaurant ½ mile.

The kitchen area has a breakfast bar with stools and is the perfect spot for a meal at any time of day. Head through to the large bedroom where you will find a double bed, statement lighting and an en-suite shower room. Outside, the private courtyard has a charming seating area to enjoy after a busy day exploring the area and a great place for a chilled glass of your favourite tipple!
Set in the village of Brent Knoll, there is a local pub just a short walk away or jump in the car where you will find a lovely carvery pub, large garden centre with coffee shop and petrol station with a convenience store. Just under 3 miles away you have the seaside town of Burnham on Sea with its many shops and eateries as well as the beach to explore. For some culture, you have the city of Bath with its historic centre and Roman architecture. The famous Cheddar Gorge is within a short drive where you will see mountain goats in the gorge or enjoy some locally made cheddar cheese!

Welcome to The Lodge at Newmeads Farm, set in 50 acres of woodland, just a stone’s throw from Glastonbury Tor and full of local wildlife. The lodge has been finished to a high standard, enter into the large open plan living area, diner and kitchen, with vaulted ceilings and large French doors bringing in masses of light. The kitchen comes fully equipped with an American fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. The living room has a double sofa bed and an electric fire for those cooler evenings to cosy up in front of, or in the summer fling open the French doors to the decked terrace and allow the fresh country air in.
The master bedroom has a double bed, plenty of wardrobe storage and a large en-suite shower room, the second bedroom has twin beds while the spacious bathroom has a bath, toilet and heated towel rail. Outside, the lodge has a large, decked area with garden furniture to enjoy the views across the fields, there are 2 large ponds next to the lodge which attract all kinds of wildlife, which makes for a wonderful way to spend time when not exploring the local attractions. In less than a mile there is a local farm with shop and spa retreat, Middlewick Farm and in 1.5 miles there is a local beer shop. The ancient medieval town of Glastonbury can be reached in just 5 minutes by car or head across the fields by foot and be there in 20 minutes while skirting the base of the Tor at the same time. Glastonbury is full of eclectic shops as well as bars, restaurants and museums to explore, where you can enjoy the 36 acres of Glastonbury Abbey and soak up the legends and myths of King Arthur, after learning all about the ruins from the excellent museum. Hop in the car and visit the designer outlet at Clarks Village in Street for some retail bargains, head to Cheddar to visit the famous gorge and sample some Yes Cheddar Cheese or see if you can find the Witch at Wookey Hole Caves!
The smallest city in the UK, Wells is definitely worth a visit, especially on market days, Wednesday and Saturday, when the streets come alive with local stalls by the cathedral.

Set within the grounds of Newton House in the rural village of North Newton, Somerset. Dragonfly Barn is a charming barn conversion providing three self contained semi-detached holiday units (refs 26907, 26908 and 28845). Situated on the first floor by way of an external staircase, Dragonfly 1 offers bright accommodation with use of a delightful sunny lawned sitting out area. Dragonfly 2 has its own private patio garden. Interconnecting doors can be utilised if required to accommodate up to 6 guests. Dragonfly 3 is a charming detached single-storey barn conversion with enclosed private courtyard garden leading off from the bedroom. North Newton is situated between the Somerset Levels and the Quantock Hills, England’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Bridgwater/Taunton Canal runs alongside the village and is a popular area for many activities including fishing, golf, cycling or a quiet stroll to enjoy the range of wildlife in this wetland habitat. Close by is Maunsel Lock where you can visit the tea rooms, take a boat trip or follow the Space Walk along the canal.
