    The Station House (ref E5336) is a comfortable detached, three-bedroom station building, typical of the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway. With one double and two twin bedrooms, it can house up to six adults.

    Railway Carriage One (ref E5337) is a compact but airy carriage with a living room and kitchen area and sleeps four in comfort. There is a double bedroom and a second sleeping area with two short bunk beds suitable for children.

    Railway Carriage Two (ref E5601) is a well-appointed and spacious carriage with two bedrooms, one double, one with two bunk beds, and a further sofa bed in the living area to sleep two. Well worth a visit is Melford Hall, owned by the National Trust, once visited by Queen Elizabeth I, and holds connections to the children’s author Beatrix Potter. The beautiful, medieval Holy Trinity Church stands at the top of the great green, built in the 15th century at a time of growing prosperity among the local cloth and wool merchants. Another gem is Kentwell Hall with its long avenue leading up to this magnificent building.
    Places to visit include the market towns of Bury St Edmunds, a 25-minute drive, Hadleigh, a 22-minute drive, Lavenham, a 12-minute drive, and Sudbury, a 6-minute drive, which also has rail links to London and Newmarket. The famous university city of Cambridge is an hour’s drive away. For fun at the coast and an excellent sandy beach you have Brightlingsea, Mersea and slightly further afield is the Suffolk Heritage Coast, where you will find the seaside gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh.
