The former stable which served the Manor House dates back to the early 18th century and has been beautifully renovated into a charming retreat, with an open plan living area, decorated with a rustic charm and featuring attractive original beams.

Outside, guests can sit, relax and unwind on the private balcony and enjoy the uninterrupted views of the glistening coast, which captures the offshore islands of Caldey, Worms Head and across the bay towards the Gower Peninsula. The historic walled town of Tenby, famous for its picturesque harbour, narrow cobbled streets and pastel painted Georgian houses, is a 5-minute drive away, or a bracing 30-minute walk along Tenby’s golden beach. A visit to the resort would not be complete with a memorable boat trip to Caldey Island, with its Celtic monastery and Cistercian monks, who have made it a holy island for hundreds of years.

A rich variety of plants and woodland flowers offer an idyllic haven for the resident wildlife. This is a brilliant area for walking, relaxing and star gazing as there is no light pollution. Nearby, a golf club and horse riding over Dartmoor are available. Being in the midst of Dartmoor, there are many superb walks, reservoirs, heather-clad tors and Dartmoor ponies. There are many places of interest for the whole family. If you are a keen walker, the Teign Valley is well known for its delightful woodland footpaths. It is an area of outstanding beauty and in the springtime, the Dunsford woods are famous for beautiful natural daffodils and a little later, a carpet of bluebells. Malmesbury, 8 miles, is the oldest borough in England with its Norman Abbey and the beautiful Abbey House Gardens. The Roman city of Cirencester is 12 miles away, and there are many Roman remains in the surrounding area, including several Roman villas near the villages of Chedworth and Withington. The famous Cheltenham racecourse is 20 miles away and the magnificent city of Bath, famous for its hot springs, is 26 miles.
