Extremely rare in its form it features the original dovecote tower which dates back to the 17th century with the original nesting boxes. Cosy up on the sofa, read a book and watch a film. For charging devices you will also find USB ports throughout the barn, so no need to panic if you forget your chargers! Why not take some time to chill upon a pew in the glass atrium, whilst basking in the sunlight. The glass walkway also leads to the boudoir quarter. Each bedroom has its very own feature bathroom and you will be spoilt for choice with roll-top baths and walk-in rainfall wet rooms to choose from.

Lovely forest walks start from the door and angling, cycling, canoeing, riding and climbing are available nearby, whilst the myriad attractions of the Forest range from a steam railway to a butterfly zoo. Forest Hills Golf Course, Coleford is only 8 minutes away. The Wye Valley and historic Monmouth’s excellent range of leisure facilities are within a half hour’s drive as are Gloucester’s celebrated docks, outlet shopping and magnificent cathedral. A tour of the farm to see the livestock can be arranged directly with the owner.
Each property benefits from a wood burner or electric coal-effect fire, perfect for keeping cosy in the winter months. To the front of the properties is a shared lawned area where guests are welcome to enjoy picnics.
Cider Press Barn (ref UK12379) offers three bedrooms, two double, one with an en-suite shower room, and a further single. To the rear of the property is a private, enclosed courtyard garden with a built in barbecue, great for al fresco dining. The courtyard itself is a sun trap and is perfect for relaxing in the evenings.
Lambing Shed (ref UK12380) is a characterful property, though what really stands out is the attention and thought that has gone into the kitchen and living space, encouraging families to spend time together. The wood burner is surrounded by an outstanding open brick wall, providing a rustic appeal. From the kitchen window you have a great view across the farm courtyard and over the fields. Flowers Barn is a beautifully converted detached Cotswold stone barn, still boasting many original features throughout. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, between Duntisbourne Rouse and Duntisbourne Leer. The name is taken from the River Dunt which flows through the village, and also from monks at the Abbey of Gloucester who controlled the area in the 13th century. Flowers Barn is adjacent to the owners’ working farm and occupies a beautiful countryside setting.
Built mainly in the time of Charles II, Flowers Barn was once home to aspiring writer and farm owner Eliza in the early 18th century. Eliza came to inherit 420-acres of land off her father, rather than one of her four brothers, and dedicated her life to the farm. She was a very bright and keen horsewoman, who was the first in the area to own a bicycle and a gas cooker. Eliza worked on the farm up until her death in 1901.
This is a perfect place to stay when in the Cotswolds, being just a 10-minute drive from Roman Cirencester and 20 minutes’ drive from Cheltenham and its famous horse racing festival in March each year. There are plenty of walks and cycle routes for active guests, and this is a very central position from which to visit the many beautiful towns and villages of the Cotswolds, including Bourton-on-the-Water, Bibury, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Campden. Both Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon are also a convenient drive away.

The Old Granary (ref UK12135) is a renovated farm building that has gone under major work to make it a well thought out property, perfect for families and groups. The entrance way still has the original stone work, which gives the property character. On the ground floor you have three double bedrooms which are all very light and airy. The living/dining room and modern kitchen are situated on the first floor, and on the second floor there is a great space that has been designed perfectly for a children’s play area, with games, bean bags, a TV and Playstation 2.

Patio doors lead off the living area to a patio and private garden space, which is ideal for spending time outside in the summer months. The Chicken Coop (UK12137) is all on one level and has been finished to a high standard, and is the perfect getaway to kick back and relax in.
