Set within the Snowdonia National Park, this terraced stone cottage is perfectly located in the peaceful village of Llanuwchllyn at one end of Bala Lake. The largest natural lake in Wales, it is the perfect place for a spot of sailing, canoeing or even trout fishing.

Ideally located for year round holidays and a perfect cosy winter retreat with its wood burner, Enlli is just a short stroll to Llanuwchllyn railway station, home of the Bala Lake railway which offers a scenic journey along the shores of the lake to the lovely town of Bala 5 miles away. Here you will find a fine selection of restaurants, cafés, pubs and shops as well as a leisure centre with a swimming pool.

Snowdonia’s exhilarating outdoor activities and myriad of family attractions including castles, zip wires and narrow gauge railways are all within easy reach. As well as the breathtaking beauty of lake and mountains, the area also offers exciting white-water rafting, golf, cycling, excellent walking and the fabulous sandy beaches of the Cardigan Bay coast, just 23 miles away at Barmouth.

The village has a station café and a small shop situated within the village inn which is opposite the cottage, which welcomes dogs and also serves food. Beach 23 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 10 yards.

This really is a superb spot for exploring this amazing part of North Wales, where you can enjoy both spectacular mountain scenery and the most amazing beaches, along with a host of family attractions. It really does make a fantastic base from which to explore the Snowdonia National Park whatever time of year, with its cosy wood burning stove and fabulous views.
Pant Du Vineyard is just over half a mile away from the cottage, an absolute must visit whilst here. The many attractions of this area include a narrow gauge steam railway, which winds its way from historic Caernarfon into the heart of the Snowdonia Mountains, and a small airfield for pleasure flights over the area.
Caernarfon, with its magnificent castle, is within easy reach and also offers a fine selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, along with golf, bike hire and sailing.

This delightful, detached, single-storey barn conversion is situated close to the tip of the beautiful Llyn Peninsula near Aberdaron and commands stunning views of the surrounding countryside and Aberdaron Bay. It is a holiday home to really get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The area is great for families, with Whistling Sands nearby, and a paradise for walkers with the coastal path passing nearby. There are also boat trips available to Bardsey Island. At the wild and beautiful tip of the Llyn Peninsula in the pretty village of Aberdaron, this coastal holiday cottage has been lovingly decorated with great attention to detail. Clean simple lines, white walls, pale blue furnishings and lovely seascape pictures all contribute to the nautical theme. The open plan kitchen/dining room is well equipped and a fantastic space for cooking and feasting with family and friends. French doors lead from the living room out to the fully enclosed garden which has a decking area perfect for eating out and enjoying the spectacular sunsets and sea views. When the sun goes down the living room is stocked with an eclectic mix of books, DVDs and games - fun for all the family! Bodarfor has Wi-Fi Internet, so take your computer, perfect for working holidays, entertainment and information.
Aberdaron has two pubs serving great meals, one with a terrace directly overlooking the beach, two tea rooms, a fish bar, an ice cream parlour selling award-winning ice cream and an excellent bakery with a tea room upstairs. The Spar has a post office counter and the Eleri Stores sells fishing tackle, frozen bait, newspapers, lottery tickets and freshly cooked takeaway pizza. The National Trust interactive visitor centre in Aberdaron promotes the many attractions of the Llyn Peninsula. The ancient church of St Hywyn’s in Aberdaron was the last stopping off point for pilgrims to Bardsey Island. There is so much to see and do within 200 yards of Bodarfor! Uwchmynydd is a heath covered headland above the village and is and home to a variety of rare plants and birds - an ideal spot from where to catch sight of elusive Bardsey Island which is invisible from the village or the Peninsula.

Here you’re really in the heart of all North Wales has to offer, with lakes, coastal paths, Snowdonia and popular tourist towns all within easy reach. Dinas Dinlle beach is in walking distance from the lodge, with wonderful views across the bay to the Llyn Peninsula and Anglesey. Caernarfon Castle, an imposing UNESCO World Heritage site, is under 8 miles and where Prince Charles took his investiture. Venture just a little further and you have Pwllheli, Criccieth and Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway. There’s something for all ages in this diverse region and it would certainly be a break to remember. Beach ½ mile.

Pebble Cottage is a stunning former fisherman’s cottage situated close to the beach front and local amenities in Aberdovey. There isn’t a better location to be for those looking for a seaside escape. Set within the southern reaches of the Snowdonia National Park, excellent for those walkers visiting the area. Aberdovey is a thriving seaside fishing village with brightly painted houses which seem to cling to the shoreline, and has a history dating back hundreds of years. It offers miles of beautiful golden sandy beaches with a fantastic selection of water based activities available including sailing, fishing and windsurfing. Golfers are also well catered for with an 18-hole championship golf course located at the western end of the village, which welcomes visiting players. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the wonderful opportunities for walking and bird watching available in the surrounding area. A myriad of visitor attractions are within easy reach including the Vale of Rheidol Railway, Talyllyn Railway, the Corris Craft Centre and King Arthur’s Labyrinth. Beach 100 yards. There are many stunning beaches to explore - walk to Llanbedrog beach or take a drive to Morfa Nefyn Beach, home to a great pub voted in the top ten of the ‘best beach bars’ in the world! Glasfryn Parc is also within easy reach, where you’re sure of a fun filled day out with go karting, ten pin bowling, fishing and various water sports including paddle boarding on offer.
