There are three separate comfy seating rooms, which consist of a large living room with inglenook fireplace housing a log burner, a cosier snug sitting room which also has a log burner perfect for a cosy evening indoors, there’s also a sunroom which is ideal for admiring the garden and surrounding fabulous views from.
The impressive kitchen has a large quintessential country cottage dining table in the centre, making this the ideal social area to gather everyone together and chat about your day. There are two family bathrooms and four spacious bedrooms with top quality mattresses and furnishings. The cottage has been furnished to a high standard to ensure your comfort throughout your stay. Outside there is ample parking and a large garden with seating areas and not forgetting the private hot tub.

Once inside you’re greeted by a stylish cottage with fabulous open plan kitchen, dining and seating area, a great social space to enjoy a tipple and cook up an evening meal in the fully equipped kitchen. There’s also a snug sunroom leading out to a balcony with decking and seating area that takes advantage of the fantastic views of the Moelwyn mountain range. A further separate large living room with wood burning stove and doors leading out to the rear courtyard area. You’ll find it difficult to decide which is your favourite spot to relax in this cottage. There’s three very spacious bedrooms with stylish furnishings, and two bathrooms one with shower over the bath and a separate walk-in quality shower. Perfect for families and friends alike.
The area is a Mecca for any outdoor enthusiasts, with bike trails, climbing, kayaking, and walking routes in abundance. Only a few minutes away is Llechwedd Slate Caverns/Zip World; a great day out for the kids and adults alike. You’re only, a short drive from Betws Y Coed, known as the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park. Just further on from here is the famous Surf Snowdonia. Also, within easy reach is Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway and the famous Black Rock Sands, and Harlech is also only a short drive away - a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization world Heritage Site with its imposing castle and simply stunning beaches well worth a visit. You’ll certainly not be short of sights to see in this diverse area.

Mountain View is a two story cottage set in the heart of the town. This end-terrace cottage comes complete with a spacious open plan living and dining area, alongside a modern kitchen with modern conveniences, the perfect space to cook up a hearty feast in the kitchen. Comfortably sleeping four, the master bedroom is spacious and the second bedroom cosy and snug. Each bedroom features quality bedding and mattresses for a great night’s sleep, just what you need after busy days walking and cycling the Welsh valleys.
Within the town is a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, great for stocking up on all your amenities. If cooking is not on the agenda, there is a great selection of take-away restaurants and some pubs serving good food.

Couples will enjoy a day trip and exhilarating off-road tour of the award winning Llechwedd. Your tour will take you deep beneath the mountains of Snowdonia and will reveal the historic story of the world as we know it. Adrenalin junkies and thrill seekers are sure to be kept happy, with Zip World in the Snowdonia National Park just short drive away. Guests can choose from rock climbing, treetop nets, gravity defying zip lines, forest coasting and caving. Young adrenalin seekers are well catered for too, so great for all the family. Situated just 1¼ miles from the town of Barmouth with its range of pubs, cafés, individual shops and entertainment for all the family, this lovely detached bungalow enjoys an enviable location.
Enter through the entrance hall, leading to the large living area with its cosy wood burner and patio doors leading to the garden. The open plan kitchen/dining room is well-equipped with all the appliances you could need for a home-from-home stay, and also features a large dining table, great for socialising whilst the chef in the family prepares a hearty meal.
The utility room room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and rear entrance for those with muddy boots, and there is an outside tap where you can wash your wellies off. The property boasts a games room, with a TV, PlayStation 4, football table, chess and other board games. This room leads to a spacious bedroom sleeping three on a bunk bed (with a double on the bottom and a single on the top). On this floor there is also a kingsize bedroom. Upstairs on the first floor are three further bedrooms, two double (one with an en-suite) and a twin bedroom.
Outside, the large front garden with patio area offers a great place for some al fresco dining, along with a fabulous view. To the rear and side of the property are woodland grounds, some of which is steep and has steep drops – please supervise all children when playing in the woodland area. There are floodlights situated on each corner of the property so if you arrive in the dark you will be able to see all of the grounds.
There are lots of walks to be had in the local area. You can walk along Barmouth viaduct and down the delightful Mawddach Trail, which runs alongside the Mawddach Estuary, to the pretty town of Dolgellau along the course of an old railway line. From Barmouth you can explore the coastline by train too. Head north to Harlech with its magnificent castle, brooding over the village, whilst to the south is Llwyngwril, home to an annual Yarnbombing project. Further south is Tywyn, home of the Talyllyn Railway, where you can enjoy a ride on a narrow gauge steam train into the hills to Nant Gwernol. Above Barmouth is Dinas Oleu, the first part of land to be given to the National Trust and the views are well worth the steep climb. If you’re into adrenaline activities, be sure to visit Blaenau Ffestiniog and Zip World, home to the largest zip wire zone in the world, and Bounce Below, the only place you are ever likely to bounce on trampoline nets in an underground slate cavern the size of St Paul’s Cathedral. Beach 2 miles. Shop, restaurant 2 miles and pub 1 mile.

For the more adventurous, you’re only a short drive from many walking routes that will take you up Mount Snowdon, for the less adventurous there’s always the easier route up by train on the famous railway in Llanberis. And no visit to this area would be complete without taking in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Caernarfon Castle. You’re also only a short drive to Zip World, the longest zip wire in the world! Rockcliffe is in the village of Aberdovey and from the balcony you can see the championship links golf course opposite, which is a must play if you’re a golfer. Aberdovey is full of things to explore on foot. There are plenty of independent shops, cafés, bars and lovely restaurants to enjoy. The beach is very popular with many water sports on offer. You can book a paddle board lesson, go surfing, sailing or even kite surfing. If the tides permit, you can even stroll along the sand all the way to Tywyn. In Tywyn visit Talyllyn Railway where you can experience a traditional journey through the Welsh countryside or venture further afield to Dolgoch Waterfall. Other attractions include Corris Mine Explorers where you can partake in excursions into an underground mine, Fairbourne Railway or how about the challenging hike up Cader Idris if you’re feeling active? Sea fishing is also available nearby.
