Close by are the bustling popular resorts of Abersoch and Pwllheli, there are miles of wonderful beaches to explore with a vast array of water sports on offer across the Llŷn Peninsula.
Just under 3 miles away is Porthor beach known for its whistling sands; the sound is created due to the unique texture and size of the sand particles. There are only two beaches in the whole of Europe where you can experience this for yourselves, and you’ll have one just down the road. The Llŷn Peninsula is an unspoilt, designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with miles of coastal and mountain walks to explore.
