The barn is situated in the grounds of a small farm, and is an ideal holiday base close to the mountains of Snowdonia. Tan Rallt Barn has plenty of space for eight people and can accommodate climbing and walking groups coming into the Snowdonia National Park. It’s a great location for outdoor enthusiasts being close to the Ogwen Valley and Zip World - the longest zipwire in the northern hemisphere, and just a short drive from Llanberis and Snowdon, with its famous mountain railway. You’ll find Penrhyn Castle (NT) just down the road, whilst Caernarfon, with its impressive castle, the Isle of Anglesey with 125 miles of coastline, Capel Curig and Betws-y-Coed are all close by. The GreenWood Forest Park at Y Felinheli, Yr Hwylfan (The Fun Centre) at Caernarfon and Electric Mountain at Llanberis are all well worth a visit. Shop 0.5 miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles. Ty Ni is a large modern property with open airy rooms and a sophisticated style. There’s four bedrooms, three of which have en-suites, and a separate family bathroom. The living and dining area have been furnished to ensure your comfort, the ideal social space for everyone to relax in. There’s a large kitchen with double oven, you’ll certainly be fully equipped for cooking up a feast. Through the kitchen there is a utility room, a much needed space for cleaning up after a muddy walk or a day spent down the beach.
Talking of beaches, pack your bucket and spade! There’s miles of idyllic coastline to explore, with picture perfect beaches and dunes you’ll be spoilt for choice. Just down the road you’ll find Harlech home to the imposing UNESCO world heritage site Harlech Castle. Bustling Barmouth is also only a short distance, take a walk along the promenade and indulge in some fish and chips. An iconic feature of the town is Barmouth Bridge, over 150-year-old railway viaduct across the Mawddach Estuary. It is half a mile in length with a wooden promenade suitable for pedestrians or cyclists which now forms part of the Wales Coast Path and the Lon Las Cymru Cycle Network. Nantcol waterfalls are just 5 miles away and offer a great day out, a perfect place for a family picnic whilst playing in the stream. You’re in a fantastic location to explore this area of the Snowdonia National Park. Beach 1 mile, pub within 2 miles.

You’ll be greeted by a spacious four bedroom house that has been fully refurbished to an excellent standard. There’s a large kitchen/dining area with a warming wood burner, an ideal spot to chat about the day and rustle up a meal in the fully equipped kitchen. A living area with cosy sofa seating to relax any weary legs from all the fabulous walking routes this area has to offer. Outside there’s a private rear garden area with the icing on the cake, a hot tub to enjoy.
Situated in the quiet village of Garndolbenmaen in the Snowdonia National Park, this cottage is near to one of the new UNESCO World Heritage sites for Wales Slate - ’Gorseddau and Prince of Wales Slate Quarries, Railways and Mill’. This is a perfect central location for Porthmadog home to the Welsh Highland Steam Railway, Cricieth perfect for spotting porpoises in the bay, and Harlech home to another World Heritage Site Harlech Castle, the Llyn Peninsula and the Snowdonia mountains and passes are all within easy reach. There’s excellent scenic hill walks right from the doorstep. Beach 7 miles.

Just a five-minute walk from the closest beach, Porth Dinllaen. You can look forward to enjoying a paddle, a pint and a giant prawn sandwich on the sea wall with family and friends.
