    This comfortable, detached cottage is set in a secluded location on the smallholding of Erw Goed, which sits peacefully within the Snowdonia National Park. Situated between the beautiful Mawddach Estuary and the foothills of Cadair Idris, just 3 miles from lovely sandy beaches at Fairbourne and Barmouth. The property is accessed by crossing some uneven ground and via a small footbridge over a stream. Guests have sole use of the ½-acre fenced garden with stream running through, there is a camp fire site available for outdoor cooking or camp fires, and guests are also welcome to explore Erw Goed’s 30 acres of gardens and unspoilt woodland and hill with spectacular views over the estuary. You can also meet the livestock including ducks, chickens, bees and sometimes pigs. The Mawddach Trail is easily accessible and the market town of Dolgellau is 6 miles away. Walking, pony trekking, fishing and golf are available locally. Coed-y-Brenin, 10 miles, is a renowned mountain biking centre. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
