In a lovely quiet location, Goleufryn is split over three buildings grouped around a pretty garden, just on the outskirts of Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsula, and has distant sea views. The main house sleeps ten and has a spacious living room with a dining room and full kitchen where everybody can gather together. The Barn sleeps four, has a large living room and kitchenette together with two bedrooms, and The Annexe sleeps four in one bedroom and also has a fantastic games room to keep the whole family occupied.
There are walks from the door, and the pretty village of Abersoch is a short distance away, providing a range of shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants. There are three beaches to choose from too, the long sandy Warren Beach, small and sheltered Porth Bach, and sandy Porth Ceiriad including backed by high cliffs. There’s also the surfers favourite at nearby Hell’s Mouth. Abersoch itself is well-known as one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales, but it also makes an ideal base for exploring the area. Visit the lovely National Trust owned beach at Llanbedrog with its multi-coloured beach huts, and call in to see the ever-changing art exhibitions at Plas Glyn-y-Weddw. Take a trip from Aberdaron to visit Bardsey Island off the tip of the Llyn Peninsula, or take a trip into the Snowdonia National Park on the Welsh Highland Railway, visit the quirky Italianate village of Portmeirion, or conquer mighty Caernarfon Castle, built by Edward I and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nearby Aberdaron, known as Wales’ Land’s End, has two local pubs serving great hearty meals, one with a terrace directly overlooking the beach, tea rooms, a fish bar, an award-winning ice cream parlour and an excellent bakery with a tearoom upstairs. The National Trust interactive visitor centre in Aberdaron promotes the many attractions of the Llŷn Peninsula, such as the ancient church of St Hywyn’s in Aberdaron which was the last stopping-off point for pilgrims at Bardsey Island, to the Wales Coastal Path for wonderful walks and nature spotting, ideal for those outdoor lovers. Close by are the bustling popular resorts of Abersoch and Pwllheli, there are miles of wonderful beaches to explore with a vast array of water sports on offer across the Llŷn Peninsula.
Just under 3 miles away is Porthor beach known for its whistling sands; the sound is created due to the unique texture and size of the sand particles. There are only two beaches in the whole of Europe where you can experience this for yourselves, and you’ll have one just down the road. The Llŷn Peninsula is an unspoilt, designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with miles of coastal and mountain walks to explore. There is wildlife in abundance, pods of dolphins, seals, and birdlife to spot. You’ll be truly captivated by a visit in this region.

A spacious static caravan situated on a bustling, popular park with many eateries to choose from, so you’ll be spoilt for choice on where to eat each day. There’s plenty of on-site entertainment to enjoy, and various activities such as segways, bikes and pedalos hire. An indoor pool with lazy river and slides, this site is a wonderful place to make memories for all ages. A short drive is Porthdinllaen beach home to a popular beach side inn, once voted in the top ten best beach bars in the world! You are also within easy reach of Porthmadog home to the Welsh Highland Railway, and Italianate village of Portmeirion, fashionable Abersoch is also nearby. Criccieth and Harlech, a short drive away where you’ll find the historic castles of the area. This area has miles of unspoilt coastal paths to explore, look out for the grey seal colonies that are established around the coastline, alongside a wealth of sea birds. No matter your interests from golfing, fishing and adventure sports to nature and history, the diverse Llyn Peninsula has everything to offer. This really is a superb spot for exploring this amazing part of North Wales, where you can enjoy both spectacular mountain scenery and the most amazing beaches, along with a host of family attractions. It really does make a fantastic base from which to explore the Snowdonia National Park whatever time of year, with its cosy wood burning stove and fabulous views.
Pant Du Vineyard is just over half a mile away from the cottage, an absolute must visit whilst here. The many attractions of this area include a narrow gauge steam railway, which winds its way from historic Caernarfon into the heart of the Snowdonia Mountains, and a small airfield for pleasure flights over the area.
Caernarfon, with its magnificent castle, is within easy reach and also offers a fine selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, along with golf, bike hire and sailing.

At the wild and beautiful tip of the Llyn Peninsula in the pretty village of Aberdaron, this coastal holiday cottage has been lovingly decorated with great attention to detail. Clean simple lines, white walls, pale blue furnishings and lovely seascape pictures all contribute to the nautical theme. Aberdaron has two pubs serving great meals, one with a terrace directly overlooking the beach, two tea rooms, a fish bar, an ice cream parlour selling award-winning ice cream and an excellent bakery with a tea room upstairs. The Spar has a post office counter and the Eleri Stores sells fishing tackle, frozen bait, newspapers, lottery tickets and freshly cooked takeaway pizza. The National Trust interactive visitor centre in Aberdaron promotes the many attractions of the Llyn Peninsula. The ancient church of St Hywyn’s in Aberdaron was the last stopping off point for pilgrims to Bardsey Island. There is so much to see and do within 200 yards of Bodarfor! Uwchmynydd is a heath covered headland above the village and is and home to a variety of rare plants and birds - an ideal spot from where to catch sight of elusive Bardsey Island which is invisible from the village or the Peninsula.

The lodge has the rare benefit of a large enclosed garden, along with decking and seating area to relax on after a day at the beach, which is walking distance away. Once inside you’re greeted by a very spacious open plan living space, there’s a quality leather corner sofa with oodles of space for all the family to relax and chat about the day. The two bedrooms have been furnished to a high standard to ensure you have a restful nights sleep, with quality mattresses and bedding, and one has its own en-suite toilet with sink.
Here you’re really in the heart of all North Wales has to offer, with lakes, coastal paths, Snowdonia and popular tourist towns all within easy reach. Dinas Dinlle beach is in walking distance from the lodge, with wonderful views across the bay to the Llyn Peninsula and Anglesey. Caernarfon Castle, an imposing UNESCO World Heritage site, is under 8 miles and where Prince Charles took his investiture. Venture just a little further and you have Pwllheli, Criccieth and Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway. There’s something for all ages in this diverse region and it would certainly be a break to remember. Beach ½ mile.

Pebble Cottage is a stunning former fisherman’s cottage situated close to the beach front and local amenities in Aberdovey. There isn’t a better location to be for those looking for a seaside escape. Set within the southern reaches of the Snowdonia National Park, excellent for those walkers visiting the area. Aberdovey is a thriving seaside fishing village with brightly painted houses which seem to cling to the shoreline, and has a history dating back hundreds of years. It offers miles of beautiful golden sandy beaches with a fantastic selection of water based activities available including sailing, fishing and windsurfing. Golfers are also well catered for with an 18-hole championship golf course located at the western end of the village, which welcomes visiting players. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the wonderful opportunities for walking and bird watching available in the surrounding area. A myriad of visitor attractions are within easy reach including the Vale of Rheidol Railway, Talyllyn Railway, the Corris Craft Centre and King Arthur’s Labyrinth. Beach 100 yards.
