The larger property, Bodrydd (ref UKC3283) boasts a truly luxurious interior, with a sumptuous living room with a baby grand piano, and a gas wood burner set into a beautiful stone inglenook fireplace. From the living room, doors lead through to a fabulous conservatory which has views across to the on-site coarse fishing lakes, open to the public. From here, French doors lead out to the spacious decked area and covered, heated plunge pool. The cottage also has a games room, where guests can hang out on a rainy day.
The location on the stunning Llyn Peninsula affords many wonderful walking opportunities, and the pretty fishing village of Aberdaron is close by with a small selection of local shops, pubs and cafés, as well as the fascinating National Trust’s visitor centre, Porth y Swnt. There are many unspoilt beaches to be found in the region, where seals and dolphins can sometimes be spotted. Lively Pwllheli, with its weekly market and larger selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, is 17 miles away, whilst the Snowdonia National Park, with its dramatic mountain scenery and exhilarating outdoor pursuits, is within easy reach. There’s plenty of onsite entertainment to enjoy, and various activities such as amusement arcade, bike hire, junior segways and kart hire. There’s also an indoor heated pool, this site is a wonderful place to make memories for all ages. There’s three bedrooms and open plan living, kitchen and breakfast area, and an area with outdoor seating perfect to catch a bit sunshine.
You’ll be in an ideal location to explore the Llyn Peninsula and the nearby Snowdonia National Park. Nearby Porthmadog is a busy harbour town, home to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railway, a must visit for families and rail enthusiasts alike. You are within walking distance of Black Rock Sands where you’ll find miles of sweeping sands and dunes. Also, a short drive is Portmeirion, an enchanting Italian-style village.
Further down the coast is Harlech with its imposing UNESCO World Heritage castle and extensive beach. A short drive inland is Blaenau Ffestiniog, an adrenaline junkie’s delight with Zip World, the largest zip wire zone in the world, Bounce Below, where you can bounce on trampoline nets deep underground in an old slate cavern, and the Stiniog downhill mountain bike trails. The area has something for everyone of all ages, from scenic walking routes, bike trails, to a whole host of water sports on offer.

A short drive is Porthdinllaen beach home to a popular beach side inn, once voted in the top ten best beach bars in the world! You are also within easy reach of Porthmadog home to the Welsh Highland Railway, and Italianate village of Portmeirion, fashionable Abersoch is also nearby. Criccieth and Harlech, a short drive away where you’ll find the historic castles of the area. This area has miles of unspoilt coastal paths to explore, look out for the grey seal colonies that are established around the coastline, alongside a wealth of sea birds. No matter your interests from golfing, fishing and adventure sports to nature and history, the diverse Llyn Peninsula has everything to offer.
