The lively seaside resort of Pwllheli, 15 miles, has a fine selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and is a favourite with the sailing fraternity. The farm has stunning views and is only a short walk to the lovely sandy beach of Towyn and also the secluded cove of Porthysgaden, which has a small public slipway and is a popular spot in Gwynedd for divers. There is also direct access from the farm onto the coastal path for fantastic walking opportunities, as well as miles of peaceful country lanes so perfect for exploring by bike.
This is an ideal location in this delightful corner of North Wales with the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park just a short drive away. Porthysgaden is also within easy reach of a myriad of family attractions and outdoor pursuits, as well as castles, narrow gauge railways and even boat trips around the small islands of Bardsey and St Tudwals. Morfa Nefyn, with its golf course and famous inn on the beach, is 2 miles away, whilst Aberdaron, fashionable Abersoch and lively and vibrant Pwllheli are all close by. Beach ¼ mile. Bring your bucket and spade as the glorious sandy beach at Morfa Dyffryn is just a mile down the road and offers superb views over to the Rhinog Mountains. For the more adventurous, Zip World and Bounce Below at Blaenau Ffestiniog are a thrill seekers delight, whilst the famous Ffestiniog Railway and mighty Harlech Castle are also well worth a visit. From Barmouth, why not hire a bike and cycle across Barmouth Bridge and along the Mawddach Trail to Penmaenpool and Dolgellau? Beach 1 mile. Shops 300 yards, pubs and restaurants ½ mile.
