You enter the hallway which leads to two stylish bedrooms on the ground floor. The cottage benefits from two good sized bathrooms, one with spacious walk-in shower, the other with bath and shower over.
The first floor leads into an impressive open-plan living area, which is uplifting and very well equipped. There are twin sofas, offering plenty of reasons to just relax and unwind and either watch the TV, or take in the views from your large, private balcony along with traditional cottage-style dining furniture. Here the sunsets are sublime and the views far and wide. There is a small, dedicated area with delightful settee where you can immerse yourself in a good book, or again just take in the views.

A spacious static caravan situated on a bustling, popular park, there’s many eateries to choose from you’ll be spoilt for choice on where to eat each day. There’s plenty of onsite entertainment to enjoy, and various activities such as amusement arcade, bike hire, junior segways and kart hire. There’s also an indoor heated pool, this site is a wonderful place to make memories for all ages. There’s three bedrooms and open plan living, kitchen and breakfast area, and an area with outdoor seating perfect to catch a bit sunshine.
You’ll be in an ideal location to explore the Llyn Peninsula and the nearby Snowdonia National Park. Nearby Porthmadog is a busy harbour town, home to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railway, a must visit for families and rail enthusiasts alike. You are within walking distance of Black Rock Sands where you’ll find miles of sweeping sands and dunes. Also, a short drive is Portmeirion, an enchanting Italian-style village.
Further down the coast is Harlech with its imposing UNESCO World Heritage castle and extensive beach. A short drive inland is Blaenau Ffestiniog, an adrenaline junkie’s delight with Zip World, the largest zip wire zone in the world, Bounce Below, where you can bounce on trampoline nets deep underground in an old slate cavern, and the Stiniog downhill mountain bike trails. The area has something for everyone of all ages, from scenic walking routes, bike trails, to a whole host of water sports on offer.

You catch glimpses of the sea as you wander through beautifully maintained landscapes of Bridlington Links Holiday Park. The lodge takes its name from the owner’s Labradoodle and your four-legged friends are sure to be delighted on a stay here. The lodge is situated in a sunny hollow surrounded by woods, and deer are regular visitors here and there are with lots of walks nearby to discover.

Stepping inside you have a lovingly furnished open plan living area, complete with lots of thoughtful extras, with glass double doors opening onto the decking. There is a twin bedroom as well as the master double bedroom, both beautifully presented. The lodge benefits from two bathrooms, the main bathroom with a shower over the bath as well as an en-suite shower for the master double bedroom.

This is a welcoming base to return to after a day of exploring. The site club house serves fantastic meals and in the summer months you can enjoy a drink on the large open terrace overlooking the sea. There is an 18-hole golf course, driving range and gym, all payable locally at the club house. Nearby you can enjoy some horse riding or spot the local wildlife during your adventures out in the rural countryside.

The village of Sewerby is just a short stroll away where you can find a local pub serving good food as well as a fish and chip shop. From Sewerby you can walk along the cliff tops down to Bridlington, or in the summer months a land train is available. The holiday lodge park backs onto Sewerby Hall, a Georgian mansion open to the public. The gardens are spectacular and the house is host to many events throughout the year. Yorkshire is renowned for its stately homes so as well as Sewerby Hall you also have Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall just a short drive away.

The seaside town of Bridlington can easily be reached on foot or just a short drive. Possibly the best attraction of Bridlington is its large sandy beach that is sure to provide a great day out of sandcastle building and paddling! You are only a fifteen-minute walk away from the beach steps. There are plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants to be found as well as some great shopping to be had in the town centre. Beach 1 mile. Gretna is located on the outskirts of Longnor, a village nestled within the Peak District hills. Although the bungalow itself is quite rural, you are just a few minutes’ drive into the centre of the village where there is a pub and shop, around 5 miles is the nearest town of Buxton which has many independent shops, cafeé, and a variety of restaurants plus the opera house, which has shows on weekly, and the Pavillion Gardens which are lovely to walk around. There are other towns close to Gretna such as Leek, Ashbourne, Bakewell and the Chatsworth Estate. If you are an avid walker, you will be spoilt for choice, step outside the property and immediately be surrounded by the rolling hills offering endless countryside walks, if you prefer to follow a trail and cycle route you are just a small number of miles from the High Peak Trail which is relatively flat and has pub and ice cream stops on route.
As you arrive at Gretna you will find ample parking down the driveway for all guests’ cars. There is a private back garden with comfortable furniture to sit on whilst spending the morning planning your exciting day ahead. There is a large living room with enough seating for all guests on the L-shaped sofa, which conveniently faces the Smart TV and wood burner; the views from this room are stunning and far reaching, especially on a clear day. The views can also be seen from the kitchen, which has all the appliances and equipment you should need to cook your favourite meals, and includes a dishwasher to ease clearing up; there is a dining table that can be extended to seat more guests. The property has three bedrooms, made up of a king, a double and a single with a pull-out bed option (for a child). There is a family bathroom with shower over the bath and an additional toilet. The property also offers a gym which is shared with other properties on the land, inside the gym is a designated study area should you need somewhere peaceful to do a few hours work.

This comfortable, dog friendly, holiday home is a 15-minute walk from Widemouth Bay which is a fantastic beach and has a vast expanse of golden sands at low tide and many rock pools to explore. The surf is often outstanding, the sun hits the beach for most of the day and the sunsets over the sea are simply magical. 3 miles to the north is Bude, a vibrant, bustling little tourist town with a wealth of restaurants and amenities.
For walkers and cyclists the area is full of superb routes and Bude lies at the centre of the most dramatic stretch of the south west coastal footpath. There are numerous local villages and landmarks to explore and much of the area is a nature lovers paradise. Bude is only a couple of minutes down the road and has the full range of facilities that one would expect of a small town including a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurant.
Bude is possibly more diverse than any other holiday destination in Cornwall. Most major villages, towns and attractions are within an hour’s drive; and because Bude sits on the county border, visitors can explore the delights of both Devon and Cornwall at their leisure. Pendra Loweth is an award-winning garden holiday village that was constructed in a picturesque wooded valley just outside of Falmouth, there are tennis courts, a playground, gym and splash pool as well as a small bar/cafe all available to those on-site. There are also regular ferries from the Prince of Wales Pier and Custom House Quay that are well worth a day trip with destinations such as the beautiful St Mawes and the Roseland Peninsula or further up the River Fal to Trelissick Gardens, Malpas or Truro. Alternatively, you can explore down the Lizard and find the majestic lighthouse and England’s most southerly headland and lighthouse, the stunning Kynance Cove or the quiet of the Helford River and the inspiration for Daphne Du Maurier’s Frenchmans Creek.
A short drive away is the Helford River. This delightful part of Cornwall includes places such as Mawnan Smith, Helford Passage, Constantine & Gweek. The area has many delights such as Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens, The Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, Goonhilly Earth and Satellite Station. Glendurgan Gardens, run by the National Trust, hold a 176-year-old laurel maze and the ’Giants Stride’ swing is very popular with children. St Anthony-in-Meneage holds a lovely little church primarily of medieval architecture. The Lizard Lighthouse is mainland Brittain’s most southerly point and truly majestic, especially if it is windy. Kynance cove is truly amazing in fine weather, Coverack, Cadgwith and Porthleven are also well worth a visit. Beach 1 mile.

The site is just 8 miles from the centre of Filey which has a wonderful stretch of beach that goes for over 5 miles down the coast. The seaside town of Filey has been visited for generations by lots of families attracted by the beach and the traditional seaside resort. The cobble landing leads down to the Filey Brigg where you see many children rock pooling. On the clifftops is the end of the Cleveland Way walk, with many a weary walker sitting on the clifftops after completing the walk. The walks among the clifftops are stunning and some of the best available down the East Coast. To the south you have the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs, and you’ll see all the migrating birds from puffins to guillemots and kittiwakes. The seaside resorts of Scarborough, Flamborough Head and Bridlington are just a short drive away.
Scarborough has two glorious beaches with a castle on the cliff top in-between, you also have the oriental gardens at Peasolm park, the Sealife Centre and one of Europe’s largest open air theatres which a great line up during the summer months. The medieval City of York is less than an hour away and is voted every year as being one of the top ten cities to visit. Try not to miss it during your stay as you will not be disappointed. A wonderful old walled city with lots of independent shops, cafés and street entertainers as well as the majestic Minster standing proud overlooking the city.
