Take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque Huddersfield Narrow Canal or explore the historic architecture that tells the tale of Uppermill’s rich heritage. Set beneath the rugged moors of the Pennines and on the edge of the Peak District National Park means nature enthusiasts will be delighted by the stunning landscapes that surround them. Lace up your hiking boots and embark on scenic trails through the rolling hills and verdant valleys of the nearby countryside. Alternatively, a short car journey round the beautiful Fylde Coast will take you to leafy and cosmopolitan Lytham through to St Annes, and finally if you want to swap the coast for the countryside, the Forest of Bowland Area of Natural Beauty is around a 30-minute drive, and the Lake District National Park around an hour.
