This holiday home has 4 bedrooms including one downstairs, and two rooms can be arranged as either twin beds or king size beds. There’s a spacious lounge, large, enclosed garden, and well-equipped kitchen.
Guests can enjoy visiting Belvoir Castle, Belton House and Isaac Newton’s Woolsthorpe Manor, and the local market towns of Melton Mowbray and Stamford.
This picturesque conservation village has a shop/post office and walks within Harlaxton Manor’s wider grounds and along Grantham Canal, and a children’s play area. There are a number of golf courses available within a 20-minute drive from Park House. For fishermen, there are also 2 fisheries nearby which offer day tickets (licence required). Belvoir Lakes is 4 miles away (at cost), and Woodland Waters is 13½ miles (also at cost). Enjoy Belvoir Castle (seasonal opening), including the Capability Brown gardens, Belton House (National Trust) and its adventure playground, Twin Lakes Family Theme Park, Isaac Newton’s Woolsthorpe Manor (National Trust), Rutland Water, Tallington Lakes and Burghley House, including its international horse trials.
Explore the market town of Grantham, 2 miles, which offers supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, a leisure centre with swimming pools, multi-screen cinema, ten pin bowling alley, Jump Revolution trampoline park, Fun Farm indoor soft play centre and Alpha Wolf Urban Axe Throwing Centre. Or visit the neighbouring towns of Newark, Melton Mowbray, Stamford and Oakham, plus historic Lincoln and its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta exhibition, vibrant Nottingham and its National Ice Centre, and Leicester, including the National Space Centre and the King Richard lll Visitor Centre. Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve is within walking distance and is well known for its unspoilt coastline that runs southwards from the edge of Skegness to the mouth of the Wash. The impressive views along with the sheer scale and diversity of wildlife makes it well worth visiting at all times of the year. There is also a visitor centre and café for refreshment.
Skegness is a fantastic traditional seaside resort and has something for all the family to enjoy from its funfair, amusements, aquarium and award winning sandy beaches to its range of restaurants, bars and nightlife. Watching the Banger racing is sure to make for a fun family day out and in the summer you can enjoy a donkey ride along the beach. An 18-hole links golf course is also within a mile.
Alternatively head inland to the rolling Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Natural Beauty, and explore the market towns of Louth, Market Rasen and Horncastle. Enjoy the motor racing at Cadwell Park, the horse racing at Market Rasen or even a day out in the City of Lincoln, famous for its Cathedral and Castle. Enjoying a rural location on the edge of the owners farm there are lovely walks straight from the door with the nearby nature reserve offering many miles of peaceful walks. Beach 1 mile. With the fabulous beaches and seaside entertainments of Skegness and Ingoldmells under 3 miles away, these two single storey converted farm buildings are ideal for family holidays or just to relax and unwind in tranquil countryside. Set, with their individual patios, around a shared courtyard area and both properties are 50 yards from good coarse fishing. Lincoln Cathedral, RSPB reserves and aircraft museums are a short drive. This superb barn conversion is fully equipped to a high standard and set only 6 miles from Grantham, the A1 and main line to London, providing an excellent base to relax in and explore this area of Lincolnshire. There is plenty to see and do such as a visit to the National Trust at Belton House. Burghley International Horse Trials are also close by. There are excellent golf courses throughout the area with Belton Park less than 2 miles away. Lincolnshire is known as Bomber County and RAF Cranwell is about a 15-minute drive. There are several good restaurants and pubs close by with the well-known Brownlow Arms just 2 miles’ walk or drive. Pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Lakeside Retreats enjoys a peaceful location tucked away in the Lincolnshire countryside, with all the luxury lodges overlooking the fishing lakes. One of the cosy lodges await you after a day spent exploring the area, with many good country pubs serving food to be found on your travels. Good walks through the park as well as the surrounding area, with many cycle routes from the doorstep. Nearby Grantham, 7 miles away, has a mainline railway station straight into London for a day out in the capital, as well as many good restaurants, pubs, shops and amenities. On-site the fishing is excellent, with huge catfish (30 lbs+) to be found in the lakes. You will have access to fishing across three lakes, and the fishing is only for guests staying on site. Brandon is a lovely family holiday home set just 100 yards from the seafront and the beach, in a residential area. Offering spacious accommodation for all the family to spread out and enjoy, it includes a large garden room with a TV and desk space for remote working, as well as a cinema room where you can sit back and enjoy a film. The front porch is the ideal space for dogs and where muddy boots can be stored. Guests will also have use of a private beach hut, with gas cooking facilities and beach equipment, only a short walk from the house.
Sandilands has been a popular family holiday destination for generations with unspoilt, award-winning, sandy beaches, miles of lovely walks along the coast and brightly coloured beach huts along the promenade, which stretches from Sandilands to Mablethorpe.
Nearby, just 50 yards away, is a shop and café which also serves food. A stroll along the seafront takes you to Sutton-on-Sea about a mile away or you can continue all the way to Mablethorpe which is about another 2 miles along the promenade. For days out you could enjoy the fun of the traditional seaside amusements at Mablethorpe, catch the bus along the coast to Fantasy Island, Butlins or Skegness which has a fairground, amusements, cinema, aquarium, and fun for all the family to enjoy. For days out Market Rasen Racecourse is 15 mins drive, the Cathedral City of Lincoln approximately a 40-minute drive and why not travel north just 25 mins to the Humber Bridge and enjoy a walk over it with spectacular views along the estuary towards Hull. There are many good walks and cycle routes to be had straight from the door of Limber Wold House with a cosy log burner to return after a day exploring the countryside. Beach 14 miles.
