During the winter months, the famous Horsey seal colony extends from neighbouring Horsey to Winterton, and there are numerous seal pups on the beach and in the sand dunes. The area is also home to a rare bird colony of Little Terns.
Sea Palling has a glorious sandy beach backed with sand dunes, perfect for picnics and plenty of open areas for walking and letting the dogs run freely. The village shop is just a few yards away and is also home to a local fish shop, café and pub with music (seasonal) serving food all day.
