Fakenham, EnglandSituated in a quiet position overlooking grazed meadowland, quite often the flight path of the resident barn owl, The Old Saddlery is a short distance from the main 16th-century Colkirk Hall farmhouse, rumoured to play host to members of the Gun Powder Plot. The property dates back to the mid-1700s, formally a cart shed and stables and latterly a saddlery through until the mid-1980s when it was remodelled into the Old Saddlery. You will find the first floor situated within the eaves of the property containing bedroom three, along with a bathroom. Great care was taken to preserve some original features such as the beams, but to provide all the modern conveniences needed for a great stay. North Walsham, EnglandTo enter Dell Cottage, you first have to walk through the wonderful garden, which has been created with loving care by the owners. This wonderful, cosy property, with it’s arch windows and quirky features, has been thoughtfully furnished and boasts a large conservatory overlooking the beautiful garden, and it’s just 100 yards away from the local beach. With some retaining features dating back to the early 1300’s, Dell Cottage was once the village school, but is now a hidden treasure right in the heart of the picturesque coastal village of Mundesley.
