Cromer itself is famous for its pier and seasonal end of pier show, it also boasts a wide promenade, perfect for a stroll to work up an appetite to eat at one of the towns many cafés, pubs and restaurants. The beach is just lovely and parts of it offer year round dog walking too. Cromer also benefits from being on a main railway line, which will take you to the Broads and in to the medieval city of Norwich. If you can bear to tear yourself away, then you can be at the heart of the Norfolk Broads in 35 minutes, crabbing on Blakeney Quay or taking a seasonal boat trip to see the seals in 30 minutes or travelling along the coast on North Norfolk railway in just 15 minutes. Add in nature galore at Pensthorpe or Sheringham Park and Cley Marshes, lots of stately homes and National Trust properties such as Blickling Hall and the Holkham Estate, the Muckleburgh and Thursford Collections, Arazonia Zoo and BeWilderwood and you will soon see why this part of Norfolk is so very popular. In fact, you are sure to come back just to fit it all in and when you do, you are bound to return to Hampshire House. Beach 300 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
