    Neighbouring villages of Brancaster is just 8 miles away, offering superb sailing, and the staithe from which visitors may take boats to the Nature Reserve on Scolt Head Island. Holkham, 17 miles, with the splendid beach and Palladian Holkham Hall housing a fine collection of art and furniture. Wells-next-the-Sea, 19 miles, a quaint fishing village with quayside stalls selling freshly caught produce and wonderful wide sandy beach. The Royal Sandringham House is 9.5 miles, home of the Royal Family since 1861.
