Set on the owner’s upland hill farm, and slightly off the beaten track, it’s idyllic for couples wishing to cycle and walk, with or without a dog. On entering to the property, there is a large porch for storing all your outdoor equipment and outside is a storage area for bicycles. The owners provide a welcome tea tray and have added maps which shows which fields and walks you can have access too. The wonderful National Trust Property of Wallington Hall and Gardens is only 5 miles away. Matfen Hall, Spa and Golf Centre is only 10 miles, and you can drive down to Corbridge in 20 minutes. This is a lovely old Roman town with plenty of lovely pubs and cafés. The pick-your-own fruit farm and café is only half an hour for you to enjoy in summer. EnglandKennel Cottage is a relaxing, tranquil retreat perfect for recharging your batteries for a special holiday or a much-deserved short break.
