Converted from farm buildings, semi-detached Crossgates and Fellbeck are situated on the edge of the moors, just 3 miles above Pateley Bridge. Comfortably furnished and centrally heated, the bungalows at Springfield Farm each provide a good holiday base to return to after a day spent walking over hills or at nearby Nidderdale. In addition to the excellent walking terrain, there is much to see and do in the surrounding area. Climbers and tourists alike can marvel at the form of the rocks at famous Brimham - time and the weather’s hand have shaped the land into incredible rock formations, where climbers and tourists alike marvel at their form. Fountains Abbey, Studley Royal, the cathedral city of Ripon and the spa town of Harrogate are close by. Shop 3 miles, pub ½ mile.

Secret View Cottage is a traditional stone built mid terraced cottage sat in an elevated position on the top of Terrington Bank, just outside the pretty village of Terrington in the Howardian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and with easy access to York, Malton and Helmsley.
It is ideal for a couple or small family to enjoy an active holiday, and is also perfect to just relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. This pretty cottage is the perfect place to return to and relax after a day exploring the local area.
The interior is full of character and even features wooden panelling in the open plan living area where you can relax in front of the TV in one of the deep comfortable armchairs or settee. The country style kitchen offers a full range of culinary amenities and a cosy seating area with more than enough seating for three. From here a door leads out to a small patio area. Make your way to the first floor and you will find a double and single bedroom. Both of which are decorated in neutral tones and provide high end soft furnishings. Both of these rooms provide wonderful and far reaching views across North Yorkshire.
For those looking to enjoy the great outdoors you can enjoy a round of golf at York Golf Club, only a five minute drive away, spend the day exploring the North Yorkshire Moors National Park which is on the doorstep or enjoy one of the many public footpaths and cycle routes that criss-cross this area.
A day exploring Castle Howard and the Howardian Hills is an absolute must. For a little culture you can spend time exploring the historic city of York with its cobbled streets and magnificent minster or enjoy the many independent shops, tea rooms, cafés and restaurants in Malton and Helmsley which are arguably two of Yorkshires finest town’s. Just under an hour away are the seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough; perfect for the summer months or a windy winter walk along the promenade. The hamlet of Wrench Green is situated on the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park, and is set amongst the most beautiful countryside close to the village of Hackness. The location is one of the most picturesque areas in Yorkshire, with fantastic walks and bike rides right on your doorstep. Head off on a woodland walk or follow some of the routes of the Tour de Yorkshire on your bike. The Dalby Forest is close by, home to the World Mountain Bike Championships. Have a go yourself on the world cup trails, or there are tracks to suit all abilities. With over 8,000 acres of woodland with wonderful walks and nature trails, this is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise. The cottage makes a great base from which to visit the North York Moors National Park, the east coast, Yorkshire Wolds and the many wonderful market towns that Yorkshire is famous for. These three lovely semi-detached cottages, offer dog friendly accommodation, and are nestled behind the local pub in the heart of the village of Stillington in rural North Yorkshire. Set half way between York and Helmsley and with the market town of Easingwold only 3 miles away the cottages are perfectly placed for couples or a small family wanting to enjoy this beautiful part of the country. All the cottages are open plan with a relaxing sitting area. The kitchens are well planned and well-equipped with a dining table to sit and enjoy home cooked evening meals. 1 Croft Cottage (UK10587) and 3 Croft Cottage (ref UK10589) have a spacious double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and both have a comfortable sofa bed for additional sleeping. 2 Croft Cottage (ref UK10588) has a large double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom with shower over bath. 1 Croft Cottage has seating area to the front of the cottage, while 2 Croft Cottage and 3 Croft Cottage both have an enclosed lawned area to the front, where you can sit and enjoy morning coffee or al fresco dining after a long day exploring the local area.
The village of Stillington has many amenities including several pubs, restaurants and a Post Office selling local produce and fresh meat. With a social club and a large antiques showroom there is certainly plenty to keep you busy. There are many miles of public footpaths and bridleways crisscrossing the countryside, and with the Howardian Hills only a few miles away it makes the cottages great for dogs. Stillington is also close to Thirsk, Helmsley, Harrogate and Knaresborough and has a great local bus service which will connect you to all of North Yorkshire.
The historic city of York is a must visit destination with attractions for all the family, from the famous Jorvic Viking Centre and the National Railway Museum to York’s Chocolate Story and York Minster. York’s winding streets and medieval buildings are world famous for playing host to hundreds of independent shops and restaurants. Indeed the coffee culture in York is well established with many eateries offering outside seating areas allowing you to watch the world go by. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 10 yards.
