The Garden Room is a fabulous ground floor holiday property situated on a working farm, next to the friendly owner’s family farmhouse which enjoys stunning views. The owners’ have made this a very comfortable retreat for couples looking to visit this beautiful part of Oxfordshire. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area leads onto the double bedroom with en-suite, with a designated area of the garden to sit and relax in whilst enjoying the warmer weather.
Only 6 miles to Oxford city centre where you can visit and admire the many historic university buildings and churches, amble around the shopping streets or go punting on the river.
There are many beautiful villages in the Cherwell area of Oxfordshire that provide picture postcard streets and village pubs. The town of Woodstock is just under 9 miles and is the location of the stunning Blenheim Palace, which hosts many events throughout the year including a light festival from November to January. For shopping enthusiasts, no visit to this area would be complete without a little spree at nearby Bicester Shopping Village, 8 miles, which is home to hundreds of designer outlets. For nature lovers, head to Otmoor, a beautiful nature reserve and a haven for wildlife in the heart of Oxfordshire which is only a few miles from The Garden Room. There are many country walks within this part of Oxfordshire including the Oxfordshire Way, a 68-mile path running from Bourton-on-the-Water to Henley-on-Thames, passing through the nearby villages of Noke and Islip.
Rectory Farm in Stanton St John, is 3 miles with a coffee shop, pick your own and farm shop selloing local produce including fresh bread, fruit and vegetables. There are a number of pubs within a 3 mile radius at Islip, Beckley and Stanton St John. Also footpaths from the property for walking dog so no need to get in the car. The owner thoughtfully provides dog bowls, treats, blankets and towels from muddy walks.

Kingham is 5 miles and every August hosts the renowned Big Festival, a three day food orientated event.

Wind your way down the garden path to the entrance of Patience Cottage. Step through the entrance lobby and you are greeted by an open plan living/dining room brimming with character from the exposed stonework to the cosy fireplace housing the wood burner to enjoy on the cooler evenings. The well-equipped beautifully designed kitchen is to the rear of the ground floor. The large modern shower room is conveniently located at the bottom of the stairs, and the soft White Company bath sheets will wrap you in refreshing luxury. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with EVE mattress whilst the second bedroom is furnished with a double bed.
