Situated in between the historic towns of Spalding and Boston, you can visit the famous Boston ’Stump’, enjoy numerous good restaurants, shops, cafés and bars as well as the weekly markets and river boat rides.
For days out, the seaside resort of Skegness is approx. 45 minutes, and Hunstanton in Norfolk about an hour’s drive. Major cities surrounding within a 35-mile radius. Nature reserves at Frampton RSPB (10 mins car journey) and Gibraltor Point offer opportunity to see the migrating birds and wildlife as well as many miles of excellent walks. The Firs is a delightful family and dog friendly end-terrace cottage, nestled away in the quaint village of Carbis Bay, just 1 mile from the beautiful coastal resort of St Ives. From here, there are spectacular views of St Ives Harbour, Godrevy lighthouse, Gwithian and Hayle Towans.

St. Ives is a beautiful resort and can easily be accessed on foot via the South West Coastal Path or take the coastal train for spectacular clifftop views. St Ives has much more to offer than just beautiful beaches. Take a boat trip, wander around the shops or visit the Tate Gallery or Barbara Hepworth Museum. Cafés, restaurants and pubs are plentiful. For dogs, there are plenty of woods, coastal and scenic walks within easy distance of the cottage or take the South West Coastal Path to Porthkidney Beach which is dog friendly all year round.
