This detached riverside holiday chalet, whose exterior does not do justice to the well equipped interior, has open views across common land and sand dunes to the mountains of Snowdonia in the distance. Overlooking the river where it meets the sea on the edge of this seaside village, it is 300 yards from a sandy beach, with another huge sandy beach half a mile away, and is on the coastal heritage walk along the rocky coastline to Church in the Sea. Trout fishing, golf, riding and a windsurfing school are all within 3 miles. Other attractions on and around the Isle of Anglesey include Holyhead Breakwater Country Park, a walker’s paradise, Henblas Country Park and Anglesey Circuit, Trac Môn, a fully licensed racing circuit. The nearby village of Llangeitho has a shop and café, great for a cooked breakfast or a snack and suitable for all the day to day essentials, as well as a friendly pub serving home cooked food. The market town of Tregaron is 3 miles away and was once a very strategic point for taking animals from the farms in West Wales to markets in England. Before railways, it is said around 30,000 animals were escorted overland on drovers roads through the Cambrian Mountains. There is much to see and do within the area for even the most active of guests including beautiful walks on Bryn Y Fan and Hafren Forest enjoying the stunning scenery, the Clywedog Reservoir offers a range of fishing or slightly further afield there is the Elan Valley Dams at Rhayader.
