Within the area there are fourteen villages and towns, this can be confusing to visitors to the Cotswolds because the whole area is considered a ’park’. The western section of the Cotswold Water Park lies to the west of the A419 between Swindon and Cirencester, centred around the B4696 Spine Road, the eastern section of the Cotswold Water Park lies to the east of the A419 and contains the thriving towns of Fairford and Lechlade on Thames. There is so much to do in the area with Walks With Hawks, Cheltenham, Cotswolds Distillery, Stourton, Cotswold Falconry Centre, Moreton-in-Marsh and Mechanical Music Museum at North leach to name but a few.
