Steephill is a traditional, unspoilt fishing cove with a sand and shingle beach nestled between rocky cliffs and smugglers coves. The bay has no road access, which makes it a unique hidden gem. Most of the town is built on a steep hill which leads to the beach, and there are a number of lovely tea shops, pubs and restaurants dotted along the esplanade, as well as quirky and bespoke shops, an award-winning park and a children’s paddling pool.
