This lovely converted outbuilding is situated just outside the village of Chwilog close to the beautiful beaches and dramatic coastline of North Wales' Llyn Peninsula. The cottage has two bedrooms; one twin room on the ground floor and one double bedroom on a separate mezzanine floor, illuminated by velux windows with views over the sea. Also downstairs is the family bathroom and open-plan living space. The latter room is a sociable setup with a kitchen, dining area and sitting space with sofa and armchair arranged around the electric imitation wood burner. Chwilog is a small village on the Llyn Peninsula, near the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales, in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The Afon Wen river flows through the village and down to the sea, which is just one mile away. Criccieth is a short drive away and is a delightful seaside town with a 13th century castle sat on a rocky outcrop with fantastic views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the towns two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Wander along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Visit Abersoch, an attractive harbour village situated between two wonderful bays. It is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. Water sports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Hell’s Mouth.
