About this property

Cotsall House is an idyllic Cotswold stone property, located in the scenic village of Broadway, with five stunning bedrooms. The property dates back to the 17th century and has been renovated to an exquisite standard, inviting guests in for a wonderful stay. A gated driveway provides exclusive privacy and off-road parking for up to four cars, so you can unload your luggage right in through the front door, which opens into a bright and stylish entrance hall. To your left you will find the elegantly styled and warm, inviting sitting room that has welcoming plush furnishings for you to sink into after a long day, whilst playing fun board games with your loved ones as the woodburning stove provides gentle heat throughout the whole room. Turning right from the entrance hall is the snug room, which provides the perfect space for you to get some peace and quiet and get lost into the pages of a compelling novel, whilst the woodburning stove keeps you toasty and snug. Through the long hallway, passing the handy cloakroom with a basin, heated towel rail and WC, you will come to the stunning, open-plan kitchen/diner that is flooded with natural light and overlooks the peaceful garden, this room is a true delight and is perfect for rustling up an evening meal and gathering around the dining table to pop open a bottle of bubbly and toast with your dear ones. When the children become sleepy, the triple bunk room is conveniently located on the ground-floor, offering a space for them to rest their eyes whilst the adults continue with the evening. Take the evening outside through the rear lobby where your coats and boots are kept, into the immaculately maintained south-facing garden which is professionally landscaped and boasts a large lawn, raised flower beds, leafy shrubs and trees, with a spacious patio area with a large corner sofa and table, looking out to a paved pathway which leads up to the impressive outdoor kitchen at the rear where an open fire takes centre stage, surrounded by a stylish oak structure with seating and amenities such as a fridge and gas barbecue; the perfect space for entertaining. When the night draws to a close, head up the attractive wooden staircase to enjoy a long soak amongst the bubbles in the bath, before making your way up three further stairs where you have a choice of four wonderful bedrooms; the master and the second bedroom both beautifully decorated, contain inviting king-size beds, with ample storage space, and a connecting Jack and Jill shower room with a large walk-in rain shower, the other two bedrooms contain double beds, one with a four-poster bed, and have ample storage space and have been elegantly designed. Once you’ve got some well-earned rest, walk over to Hunters Tea room for a wonderful breakfast, before taking a leisurely walk around Broadway to discover an array of individual shops and restaurants, such as Cheltenham House Antiques, Blandford Books and Hamiltons Chocs & Sweets, where you’ll surely not leave empty handed! Chipping Campden can be easily accessed by taking a scenic walk along the Cotswold Way walking trail and alighting at the War Memorial in Chipping Campden to enjoy a lovely walk around the 17th century market square before having a well-earned heart-warming meal at The Bakers Arms. Heading slightly further North will bring you to the wonderful market town of Evesham, where you can visit the Almonry Museum and gift shop, and afterwards take a walk over to The Hampton Ferry which is a pedestrian cable ferry linking Evesham and the district of Hampton across the River Avon in the English county of Worcestershire. Stratford-upon-Avon can be accessed in just over 30 minutes by car, which is the birthplace of William Shakespeare where there is an array of attractions for all the family to enjoy including The Creaky Cauldron, Magic Alley, Tudor World and the beautiful Bancroft Gardens, perfect for a day out with the kids! Cotsall House has everything you need for a wonderful stay in Broadway.
