Great Tew 1.7 miles. A quality terraced barn conversion, located in the pretty village of Little Tew near Great Tew, and just a short drive from the ancient town of Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds. This is a lovely cottage in a quiet location and ideal for those wanting to explore this popular area. The cottage has an open plan living area with well-equipped kitchen and dining area, with a sitting area having a woodburning stove to snuggle up in front of, if the weather gets colder. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, both of which have a TV and there is also a family shower room. Outside, there is a private patio, where you can put your feet up and enjoy this stunning part of the country, ideal for the country loving holiday maker. Great Tew, often described as one of England's prettiest villages is full of character cottages and has an excellent pub and a village shop. Chipping Norton is really interesting and has numerous historic buildings. Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are all close by. Alternatively, take a trip to the riverside town of Banbury, Blenheim Palace or the university city of Oxford. The birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Warwick, with its magnificent castle, also make great family days out.
