Hall Cottage is a delightful, stone-built terraced cottage in the peaceful hamlet of Ovington, six miles from Barnard Castle, in County Durham. This spacious cottage is ideal for a family, including pets, or a small group wanting to explore the North Pennines and Yorkshire Dales, both of which are in easy reach. The property has a private driveway with parking for two cars. A short drive will bring you to the market town of Barnard Castle, with a bustling high street full of shops, pubs and cafes, as well as the impressive Bowes Museum, where you can admire a collection of art, ceramics, textiles, tapestries and more. Further afield you will find the historic Yorkshire market town of Richmond, great for strolling along the cobbled high street and admiring its Norman castle walls. Nearby attractions also include The Pennine and Teesdale Ways, while the North Pennines AONB and Yorkshire Dales National Park are easily accessible, offering plenty of stunning scenic walking routes.
