About this property

This dog-friendly pocket of Victorian domestic grandeur is steeped in local history surrounding the original owner, Sir Dan Godfrey, the founder of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. You and your canine companion can enjoy following in his footsteps with a walk down to the nearby Winter Gardens. Back at the hotel, the inspiration for the décor has come from the owner, Michelle who has added a sense of fun to the dog welcoming Tea Lounge and the newly designed Bubble Lounge.

The bedrooms are decorated in a soft palette from the Little Greene National Trust Paint to promote a feeling of restfulness and well-being. Conservation, restoration and reinvention are at the heart of your trip at Collingwood. A hearty cooked breakfast is served at your table every morning plus you can opt for an afternoon tea with you and your furry family member. Ask the friendly team top point you in the direction of the best dog walks - coastal pathways and rural views are a short drive away. Parking is charged at £12.50 per day.

PLEASE NOTE: PLEASE NOTE: The Swimming Pool and evening dining facilities will be closed throughout January 2024. Swimming pool will be closed from 2nd January till 1st February. Only breakfast will be offered and no other meal from 2nd January till 1st February.

The hotel is based in the town centre, so there are many different restaurants within walking distance: Pubs, Italian, Indian, Greek, Asian and more. BH2 centre is within 5 min walk and there are an additional 25 restaurant within centre.

You can dine with your dog in the Bubble Lounge or Tea Lounge. A Bar Menu is available during the day and in the evening, you can also choose from the restaurant menu. The hotel's menu is full of fresh ideas from Executive Chef Manash Choudhry, who will always go the extra mile for guests and their furry friends. The Hotel's dining facilities will be closed during the evenings throughout January 2024.
