Norwich city boasts a wealth of attractions including a stunning cathedral and churches, numerous museums, a splendid Norman castle, galleries, and a range of theatres too, including a quirky and much celebrated puppet theatre. The city also plays host to lots of festivals and events throughout the year including comedy nights, a Lord Mayor’s procession, dramatic firework displays over the stunning castle, a well-established Pride event and popular nightlife. Shopaholics will find a great range of indoor and outdoor high street shopping and an award-winning market, packed with boutique and artisan cafés, shops and restaurants. Foodies will also be spoilt for choice with every taste and budget catered for, from chain favourites to chic one offs, many of which serve local produce. There is a mainline railway station serving local seaside resorts and further afield destinations.
