About this property

Off the beaten track, down a stone wall lined road you will find Marchlyn, a lovely semi-detached barn conversion, now a delightful holiday home in the stunning Welsh countryside. Its location affords you easy access to the Snowdonia National Park and the coast as well, so you could have a day at the beach, or trek up a mountain, the choice is yours! The property hosts an open-plan living space with a kitchen, living area and dining area, with a woodburning stove completing the homely feel for those evenings curled up on the corner sofa in front of the roaring fire. Upstairs there are two bedrooms; a king-size and a twin, along with a family bathroom where you can relax in the tub after a long day of walking. To the outside you can also enjoy a patio with seating, and the use of the shared external utility room.

Deiniolen is a village in Gwynedd, in the Llanddeiniolen Community, with views over Caernarfon which is around 7 miles away, and on a clear day even the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland can be seen. The slate industry was an important employer and source of business to the town, but the quarry has now been closed since 1969. Nowadays, the village is within easy reach of the Zip World at Penrhyn Quarry, and several other activities to get stuck into while you're in the area.
