This area around Whitley Bay and Tynemouth is a wonderful place to stay and a stunning part of the coastline with a fabulous flat promenade that stretches all the way along to Tynemouth where the Priority sits at the end. The whole area of this coastline has hidden cafes along the beach and is a super location for adults and children. You will have the view of the sea right from the doorstep, and the beach is roughly only a 5 minute walk.

A theatre is nearby and plenty of amusements for the children. You can easily travel all over the Northeast from here, the nearby metro is perfect for visiting Newcastle a vibrant city full of life and culture, hop on to Tynemouth and visit the wonderful weekend indoor market dubbed the Covent garden of the north.
