This Grade II listed property has been restored to a high standard and offers a large open plan living area with wood burner – perfect for those cosy evenings in - as well as a kitchen and dining area with everything you could need home from home. The open plan living space has a kingsize bed and two sofa beds, a Smart TV, bathroom with walk-in rainfall shower and a heated towel rail. The ceiling of the chapel is accessed via a spiral staircase and has two single sofa beds; the views over the village and surrounding countryside from here are just fabulous. The large patio area with furniture and a swing seat, the perfect place for relaxing in with a glass of something chilled, and there is also and enclosed patio to the rear of the property.
Walks can be enjoyed straight from the property with immediate access into the forest. You won’t get bored exploring local forests, whether cycling through the many trails or admiring the views on foot. You might like to jump on the train and head 45 minutes away to Cardiff for shopping and dining out. For a great day out, be sure to visit Gloucester Cathedral, a must see for Harry Potter fans! Or for a change of pace enjoy some shopping in Cheltenham or Bristol. Other outdoor activities include canoeing at Symonds Yat, walking through Clearwell Caves hidden under the forest floor and Go Ape and Segways Beechenhurst. Picnic area with BBQs and a stream 2 miles away at Wenchford. Roses Pottery in Littledean. Wild swimming in the Wye and Kayaking. Roses Pottery in Littledean, Dean Heritage Centre almost next door to the Chapel. A local pub with good beers.
