Airyhemming Farm is a detached two storey house situated in peaceful countryside with open views over farmland to the rolling Galloway Hills. The property also boasts its own stretch of water for brown trout fishing. If fishing is not for you then why not relax in the hot tub! The charming village of Glenluce has local shops and pubs. This area of Dumfries and Galloway boasts rugged coastlines and secluded sandy beaches which benefit from the warmth of the passing Gulf stream and is surrounded by breathtaking scenery, offering an ideal base from which to explore the Machars Peninsula and the Galloway hills. There are many beautiful gardens to explore, including the world renowned Logan Botanical Gardens. The area boasts many pretty little ports like Sandhead, Portpatrick and the RSPB Scotland Mull of Galloway nature reserve where thousands of seabirds nest in the cliff face during the spring and summer. Walking is a delight, whether clifftop, beaches, hills or forests and the Southern Upland Way passes close by. Also a cyclist’s paradise with the world famous 7Stanes within easy reach. If you prefer shooting or golf then there are many facilities nearby including the County course just two miles away. The town of Stranraer which is only 10 miles away offers a wider range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Nearby Cairnryan is home to the Stena Line ferry making a day trip to Ireland a great day out. Surrounded by some of the country’s most beautiful landscapes, with Dartmoor and the lovely rolling hills of Devon on your doorstep, Barwick is also within easy reach of the coast. This spacious property has the benefit of a large open plan living space downstairs and an additional sitting room upstairs, complete with a balcony so you can take in the glorious countryside views.
Barwick sits on the edge of the lovely village of Exbourne with an inn serving meals and local ales, an eco-friendly, underground shop, post office and historic church. Approximately 100 yards from the property, there is a lovely playpark for the children to enjoy. The local town has a cinema, supermarkets, castle, museum and a variety of restaurants. The property is just 6 miles from the breathtaking Dartmoor National Park, where you can see Dartmoor ponies, beautiful landscapes, quaint villages, castles, culture, and an altogether slower pace of life. You can settle down at a pub, or find an idyllic spot to enjoy a picnic whilst taking in the spectacular scenery. Meldon Reservoir is just 8 miles away and offers fishing, water sports and lovely lakeside walks. The pretty towns of Okehampton and Tavistock are close by, and there are also many beautiful gardens including RHS Rosemoor and The Lost Gardens of Heligan within easy reach. Devon and Cornwall offer fantastic coastal walking and boast sandy beaches and hidden coves, ideal for surfing or exploring the many rock pools. Fishing, tennis, horse riding, pony trekking and an 18-hole golf course are all close by. North Devon has plenty to see and do, and is home to some of the best beaches in the country including Woolacombe and Saunton. The nearest beach is at Instow and is ideal for children or just a great place to walk off life’s stresses, and then enjoy a meal or drink at one of the pubs and restaurants along the front. The town of Great Torrington is only a short drive away and has most amenities you may require. The larger regional town of Barnstaple has a busy high street, the Pannier Market and famous Butchers Row. There are numerous places of interest close by including the RHS gardens at Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and the historic fishing village at Clovelly. For the younger ones a visit to the Big Sheep or Milky Way Adventure Parks is a good option. There is walking on Dartmoor or hire a bike and cycle the Tarka Trail, and there is also golf and fishing available locally.

Coppice Hill House offers a comfortable and homely base for couples and families wishing to explore this popular part of Hampshire. It lies on the edge of the South Downs National Park making this ideal for keen walkers and cyclists. Southampton and the historic cathedral city of Winchester can be reached within 10 miles.
Parts of this characterful Grade II listed property dates back to the 15th century, with some later additions, mainly in the 17th and 18th centuries. It is steeped in history, and was formerly a pub, a school, a place for the manufacture of bespoke bricks and tiles, and also a doctors surgery. This traditional, detached family home enjoys some charming features such as beams, tiled floors, inglenook fireplaces, original oak floors, wood panelling in the dining room, a Rayburn, walled garden and a wood burner. The naval city of Portsmouth is 14 miles away, with its historic dockyard, home to Nelson’s Victory and The Mary Rose, along with waterside dining, extensive designer shops and ferry trips to the Isle of Wight. Winchester, Southampton with its shopping centre and the New Forest with extensive heathland walks, riding and cycling opportunities are approximately 40 minutes away. Historic Chichester with its cathedral and festival theatre, the city of Winchester, beaches at West Witterings or Hayling Island, the Watercress steam train, Jane Austens’ House, Gilbert White’s house and Birdworld, Marwell Zoo and Peppa Pig World are all easily reached. The barns are located on a horse riding school, where all the family are encouraged to give horse riding a try. Once in the saddle you will want to take it up when you get back home. There is plenty of birdlife here including kingfishers, so you often awaken to the sound of the dawn chorus!

It is an ideal location for touring the both north and south Cornish coasts and close to the Devon/Cornwall border so you can explore both counties from one base. Whether you wish to take it easy in our pool and bbq area, have a swim, ride a horse, try paintball or even go fishing on the River Kensey close by, there is plenty to keep you entertained and make you want to get out and about and feel invigorated by the fresh Cornish air. Out and about in the region you can head west by car to the Widemouth Heritage Coast and visit mystical Tintagel and Port Isaac Bay, or head east towards Dartmoor’s wilderness; whichever direction you travel in there is sure to be something new to see. Launceston, 2 miles, once the ancient capital of Cornwall, has shops, a steam railway, castle, golf and an indoor leisure centre. A variety of golf courses locally. Ymwlch Barns are a charming complex of barn conversions situated in a quiet hamlet offering beautiful mountain views and country walks. The Dutch barns (UK12872 and UK12873) are superb, semi-detached barn conversions each offering modern open plan living with a luxurious touch and lovely private hot tubs in enclosed courtyards (towels not provided). They each have a kingsize bedroom and a twin room, making them ideal for small families or couples. Kris Kin (ref OXU) is a charming detached barn conversion with oak beams, wooden floor, well-equipped kitchen and an en-suite bathroom. This property also has its own hot tub.

The surroundings are alive with snowdrops in winter and bluebells in spring. The complex is a short drive away from the beach and castle at Criccieth, and a lovely selection of restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs. Situated on the beautiful Lleyn Peninsula, the area is perfect for walking and cycling with an abundance of lovely footpaths and peaceful country lanes. Just under 5 miles away is the lovely town of Porthmadog, with its pretty harbour and the start of fabulous narrow gauge steam train rides on the world famous Ffestiniog railway, which takes you deep into the heart of the magnificent Snowdonia National Park. Set in the Exe Valley and very accessible from major roads, are these three beautiful properties which all offer the perfect holiday retreat. All or part of the complex can be booked for large groups, parties, or family gatherings. It would make an ideal venue for a wedding, with facilities allowing up to 100 guests to attend, by arrangement.


They each have their individual character including beams and most with wood burners. Duval Priory (ref 9985) dates back to 1086 is also Grade ll listed and enjoys its own private hot tub. Guests can also enjoy the cycle path around the grounds.

The medieval town of Dunster with its magnificent castle, deer park and mill, and the historic cathedral city of Exeter with its variety of shops, restaurants, theatres, racecourse and the Maritime Museum are both 20 miles away.


Delightful Bickleigh, 8 miles, has lovely, thatched inns overlooking the river serving good food and local ales, the perfect location to get away from it all. Taunton, Ilfracombe, Sidmouth, Seaton, and Exmouth within easy driving distance. National Trust properties within easy reach include Knightshayes Court, Powderham Castle and Castle Drogo to name a few. Bampton is 2 miles away, and sailing is available at nearby Wimbleball Lake.
