There are numerous public footpaths for walkers to enjoy and a section of the North Wales cycle route cuts through Llanllechid. In around ten minutes you may drive to Penryhn Castle owned by the National Trust with its grand rooms and attractive gardens. Or if you prefer a little retail therapy the city of Bangor is a further five minutes away. Ask for the quick route to Aber Falls and you could be at the start of a really nice and not too arduous walk in about 15 minutes to see the waterfall. Slightly further afield there are numerous attractive places to visit both seaside and hillside. If you want to feel really rural yet able to reach a vast array of tourist destinations, this is the place to be. Beach 5 miles. Shop ½ mile, pub 1¼ miles and restaurant 2¼ miles.

The ground floor of this property is very accessible as there’s a ramp which gives access through a bedroom on the ground floor, along with a second entry point through another bedroom into the living area.
Tregarth is a traditional Welsh village, originating from the slate mining industry of times gone by, now a friendly village with a traditional welcoming pub. You’ll be positioned perfectly to explore the captivating island of Anglesey which is only a short drive, along with the Snowdonia National Park, which has many walking routes up Mount Snowdon. Only 3 miles away is the action packed Zipworld Penrhyn Quarry with a plethora of activities, along with cafés serving quality food. Also nearby is Penrhyn Castle, a National Trust castle, well worth a visit for all ages. And further down the coast is Conwy, a historic harbour town with UNESCO status castle, town walls and many historic buildings to visit. Beach 9 miles.

Bring your bucket and spade as the glorious sandy beach at Morfa Dyffryn is just a mile down the road and offers superb views over to the Rhinog Mountains. For the more adventurous, Zip World and Bounce Below at Blaenau Ffestiniog are a thrill seekers delight, whilst the famous Ffestiniog Railway and mighty Harlech Castle are also well worth a visit. From Barmouth, why not hire a bike and cycle across Barmouth Bridge and along the Mawddach Trail to Penmaenpool and Dolgellau? Beach 1 mile. Shops 300 yards, pubs and restaurants ½ mile.

The real stand out feature in this property is the cinema room, with seating for everyone to relax and enjoy a movie in front of the 100 inch projector screen, this room also doubles up as a playroom. A separate games room with multi-functional 7ft games table for pool and air hockey, and a separate foosball table. Whilst this bedroom is accessible, the main house ground floor does have a couple of steps to navigate, blocks to make a ramp will be available. Please note the doorways into the main house measure 80cm in width. The main house has a separate lounge with ample comfy seating and warming log burner perfect for those chillier evenings. A fully equipped kitchen and dining room with space for all the family to sit and enjoy an evening meal. Porthmadog is a busy harbour town, home to the Welsh Highland Steam Railway. Within easy reach is Black Rock Sands where you’ll find miles of sweeping sands and dunes, and Portmeirion, an enchanting Italian-style village. A short drive is Harlech with its imposing Castle and extensive beach. Nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog, an adrenaline junkie’s delight with Zip World, the largest zip wire zone in the world, Bounce Below, where you can bounce on trampoline nets deep underground in an old slate cavern, and the Stiniog mountain bike trails. The area has something for everyone of all ages, from scenic walking routes, bike trails, epic climbing, to a whole host of water sports on offer. Beach 1 mile. Pub and restaurant 100 yards.

Outside there’s a lovely, enclosed, private seating area; a fantastic spot to sit and relax in after your day’s adventures, with a gentle stream running through to really add to this relaxing spot. All amenities are close by, with a pub and shop in nearby Bontnewydd. Only a short 5-mile drive takes you down to the beautiful beach at Dinas Dinlle, which is well worth a visit, with wonderful views across the bay to Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula. The area is a designated Site of Special Scientific interest due to a number of rare birds that live in the area; a must for any bird watchers. For the more adventurous, you’re only a short drive from many walking routes that will take you up Mount Snowdon, for the less adventurous there’s always the easier route up by train on the famous railway in Llanberis. And no visit to this area would be complete without taking in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Caernarfon Castle. You’re also only a short drive to Zip World, the longest zip wire in the world! What a magnificent area this really is!
