The real stand out feature in this property is the cinema room, with seating for everyone to relax and enjoy a movie in front of the 100 inch projector screen, this room also doubles up as a playroom. A separate games room with multi-functional 7ft games table for pool and air hockey, and a separate foosball table. This leisure area is accessed through the courtyard area of the property and also houses a ground floor accessible bedroom and wet room. Whilst this bedroom is accessible, the main house ground floor does have a couple of steps to navigate, blocks to make a ramp will be available. Please note the doorways into the main house measure 80cm in width. The main house has a separate lounge with ample comfy seating and warming log burner perfect for those chillier evenings. A fully equipped kitchen and dining room with space for all the family to sit and enjoy an evening meal. Porthmadog is a busy harbour town, home to the Welsh Highland Steam Railway. Within easy reach is Black Rock Sands where you’ll find miles of sweeping sands and dunes, and Portmeirion, an enchanting Italian-style village. A short drive is Harlech with its imposing Castle and extensive beach. Nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog, an adrenaline junkie’s delight with Zip World, the largest zip wire zone in the world, Bounce Below, where you can bounce on trampoline nets deep underground in an old slate cavern, and the Stiniog mountain bike trails. Glanrafon Isaf is a fabulous converted barn and adjacent annexe that adjoins the River Gwyrfai, with full access for fishing and walking along the river bank. This holiday home lies close to the town of Caernarfon and there is much to see in the area, including mighty Caernarfon Castle, the Galeri Arts Centre or take a trip on a steam train on the Welsh Highland Railway to Beddgelert. Children will also love Caernarfon’s Fun Centre (Yr Hwylfan), and Gypsy Wood Park in nearby Bontnewydd. It is also just a short journey to the Isle of Anglesey with its spectacular 125 miles of coastline and fascinating places to visit such as Beaumaris with its Edward I castle, Red Wharf Bay and the beautiful and leafy Newborough Forest. In the other direction is Snowdon which, at 3,560ft, is the highest mountain in Wales. A more relaxing way than climbing to the top is to take the train to the visitor centre at the summit - on a clear day the views are spectacular! The Victorian town of Llandudno, Llanberis and picturesque Betws-y-Coed are all within easy reach.
