Drift Wood and Sea Shells (refs 29958 and 29959) are attached and Crab Cottage (ref 29960) is detached – they all offer fantastic holiday accommodation. The area has a lot of activities for everyone, with the coastal resort of Mablethorpe close by and Sandilands golf course is 1 mile away. With the sandy beaches within walking distance and shops and pub also a stroll away, there is no need to use the car, but if you want to explore further along the coast, the busy seaside resort of Skegness is 14 miles away, the market towns of Alford, 7 miles and Louth, 20 miles, are all worth a day out. There is also a nearby bus stop which is the main bus route from Skegness to Mablethorpe. There is a popular hotel with a bar close by with two tennis courts. Free fishing is also available nearby. Leadenham is situated 15 miles south of Lincoln, in a village well known for its polo club and gastro pub which is just 200 yards away. Rutland Water is a 30-minute drive away, and to the east are the sandy beaches of the seaside resort of Skegness, just over an hour’s drive. The area is full of excellent walks and cycle routes, and after a day exploring you can return to enjoy the village pub or tearoom for refreshment.

Nearby Kirton has a good range of amenities including shops and pubs which is only a 10-minute walk away. Situated in between the historic towns of Spalding and Boston, you can visit the famous Boston ’Stump’, enjoy numerous good restaurants, shops, cafés and bars as well as the weekly markets and river boat rides.
For days out, the seaside resort of Skegness is approx. 45 minutes, and Hunstanton in Norfolk about an hour’s drive. Major cities surrounding within a 35-mile radius. Nature reserves at Frampton RSPB (10 mins car journey) and Gibraltor Point offer opportunity to see the migrating birds and wildlife as well as many miles of excellent walks. For cycle enthusiasts, there are some great cycle routes close by. While you’re surrounding yourself in romantic luxury see if you can spot the abundance of wildlife, including, squirrels, owls, bats, dragonflies, rabbits, robins, woodpeckers, various birds of prey and the occasional muntjac deer.
