This delightful farm holiday cottage, dates back to the 1640s and adjoins the owner’s impressive home which stands in its own grounds and mature gardens. Featuring exposed beams and sloping ceilings, with pretty windows at floor level in the bedroom, enabling you to enjoy the pleasant views from your bed, the cottage is situated on the edge of the unspoilt Peak village of Monyash, just 4 miles from Bakewell, the delightful market town at the heart of the Peak District. Bee Keepers Cottage is located on a working farm on the edge of Derbyshire’s Peak District, the cottage overlooks the 18 hole golf course at Shirland Golf and country club where visitors day passes are available.

The cottage has beautiful rural views and offers guests the peace and quiet of rural living yet within easy access of local attractions and transport networks, and there is a golf course boarding the property’s grounds and miles of footpath networks adjacent to the farm.

The accommodation at Bee Keepers cottage is spaced over a single storey and offers light, bright accommodation with beautiful gardens and views of the rolling Derbyshire countryside.

Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall and Crich tramway museum are a short drive away. Local towns include Matlock, Bakewell and Chesterfield. Derby and Nottinghamshire are a 20-minute drive.

The location is popular with walkers who enjoy the beautiful walks and trails straight from the doorstep.

All accommodation is on the ground floor. The Large modern kitchen/dining area to seat 6 and opens out onto the living area with Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric eye level oven, built in microwave, induction hob, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Two bedrooms have king size beds, and the third a single bed, and there is a family bathroom with bath and shower above – there is also an additional shower room with quadrant shower cubicle, toilet and basin.

Outside there are two seating areas, a BBQ, gardens and plenty of off-road parking.

Guests are welcome to visit the horses in the barn next to the property (prior arrangement with the owner), please supervise children for their safety.

Red Robin Cottage is a charming, two-bedroom cottage, perfect for couples or a small family. On the ground floor, you’ll find a delightful living room with TV and an electric wood fire effect, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern amenities, ensuring you have everything you need for cooking delicious meals during your stay, there’s also a large dining table where you can enjoy your meals together. On the first floor you have a kingsize bedroom featuring a TV, along with a twin bedroom. The bathroom offers both a bath and a shower cubicle, providing convenience and comfort for your stay. Step out from the kitchen into the generously sized, lawned, enclosed garden with comfortable furniture which makes it an excellent spot to relax and soak in the fresh air. The property provides driveway parking for one car, with additional street parking available if needed.
There is ample to do in the area to make your stay fun filled and memorable. Take a stroll through the local nature reserve, visit Chesterfield town centre known for its iconic crooked spire, where you can enjoy shopping and cafés. The Peak District is home to Chatsworth House, a magnificent stately home with stunning gardens and beautiful art collections; it is a must visit for history and architecture enthusiast. There are many different walks to be enjoyed around the entirety of the Peak District. Through the fields alongside unused railway tracks and hilly trails, there’s plenty of countryside to see along the way whichever route you take. You can easily fill your time in Derbyshire with activities to suit all your party with the knowing of having Red Robin Cottage to return to at the end of the day to relax and unwind in comfort.

Situated in a beautiful quiet courtyard in the quaint village of Over Haddon you will find The Old Stables, a beautiful converted barn ideal for up to four guests. The former farm building was once owned by the Prime Minister Lord Melbourne, to whom Queen Victoria was very close to, and sits adjacent to the owner’s home, Manor Farm, a medieval Grade II listed manor house which dates back to 1553. The Old Stables is one of six dotted around this stunning courtyard setting and has been converted to a good standard throughout. The property offers exposed beams and is full of character, really giving this holiday home a unique feel. Stable doors welcome you into the open plan kitchen and living area, and upstairs there are two bedrooms and a super bathroom complete with a spa bath.
The Old Stables is located in the very heart of the wonderful Derbyshire Peak District National Park and benefits from an elevated position with views that can be enjoyed from the master bedroom stable door. Stunning panoramic views over the countryside and Peak District are just one of the fabulous features of this property.
Over Haddon itself is a lovely village offering visitors excellent walks, a local village pub, an award winning café, and let’s not forget the nearby spectacular limestone Lathkill Dale. It is an ideal position from which to enjoy many of the wonderful attractions Derbyshire has to offer including Bakewell, which can be reached in around 5 minutes, with its independent shops, tea shops, weekly farmers’ market, and of course the Bakewell pudding shop! Nearby is the exceptional Chatsworth House and Gardens, along with medieval manor house Haddon Hall.
There is an abundance of walks straight from the front door of this wonderful property, along with further opportunities for cycling on the Monsal Trail, rock climbing and horse riding. Shop 2½ miles, pub 1 mile, restaurant 2 miles.

Woodside View is in the picturesque village of Longnor which is in the heart of the Peak District.

Longnor has a fish and chip shop and a small, but delightful childrens park Woodside View is a haven for walkers and cyclists to explore the Tissington and High Peak cycle tracks.
Nearby is Buxton with its eventful Opera House, the Crescent Hotel which was recently opened boasting a 5-star spa and the pavilion Gardens, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are both within easy reach, along with numerous National Trust Properties, Parks and Gardens, and delightful historic market towns and villages.

Dating back to the mid-1800s, this pretty, terraced, stone-built, former rail workers cottage provides beautifully presented and comfortable holiday accommodation, which is well located for families or couples who want to explore all that Derbyshire’s Peak District has to offer. The village of Rowsley offers a village grocery shop and a post office, and is conveniently situated between two of the Peak District’s most popular market towns, Bakewell, 3 miles, and Matlock, 5 miles, as well as being on the doorstep of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, both 2 miles away. Rowsley provides an excellent base for walking, with paths leading to Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and up the hillside towards the moors of Stanton and Fallinge. The Derwent Valley Heritage Trail runs through the village, which has two small art galleries and a couple of good pubs. The Peak Village factory outlet and Caudwell’s Mill, with cafe and craft centre, are both within easy reach of the cottage. Places of interest further afield include Crich Tramway Village, Manifold Valley, Castleton, Dovedale and Buxton. Activities available locally include cycling and fishing. In summer, steam trains operate to Matlock via Darley Dale. Pub ¾ mile, restaurant 2 miles.

The cottage, built for salt mill workers is 18th century, and its name originates from Wilne Lane which is mentioned in the Doomsday Book.
Shardlow is an unexpected delight for any unsuspecting visitor, whether emerging from the Derby conurbation in the north and finding quiet, spacious, sweeping greenery, or from the south where a signpost tells you you’re now in Derbyshire, although without the hills and dales you might have been expecting. As you spy the boats, locks, and warehouses, you might even wonder if you’ve been transported to a corner of the Netherlands, an impression that would have been even more likely if Shardlow had hung on to its windmill and more importantly in its hayday it was referred to as ‘Rural Rotterdam’ and ‘Little Liverpool’. Today Shardlow is Britain’s most complete surviving example of a canal village, much of it snuggled safely in a conservation area.

Starry Cottage can be found in a prime location just a few minutes’ walk from the independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants in the centre of the popular, historic market town of Bakewell. In the heart of the Peak District National Park, this Grade II listed cottage dates back to 1820 and has been fully renovated combining the traditional comfort of a wood burning stove with beautiful luxury touches such as granite work surfaces and limestone floors.

Bakewell itself holds a beautiful riverside setting and is surrounded by spectacular countryside perfect for committed ramblers to fair weather walkers. Its market day is every Monday, with an additional farmers’ market held on the last Saturday of the month. The spectacular limestone dales of the traffic free Monsal Trail and Lathkill Dales are easily reachable in under 10 minutes as are Chatsworth House, with its 100 acres of landscaped gardens, and the medieval manor house of Haddon Hall. A popular base for tourists wanting to explore the areas neighbouring villages include the stunning Ashford-in-the-Water and Rowsley, and the major cities of Sheffield, Derby and Manchester can all be reached in around an hour.
