The complex has fantastic on-site facilities including a heated indoor swimming pool (open all year), and hot tub area, a well-equipped gym, Wi-Fi (in the communal areas), games room and separate snooker room.

Located on a 1½-acre, well-stocked coarse fishing lake, with carp weighing up to 25lb, in stunning surroundings, there is also a Just for Fun 9-hole pitch and putt (weather dependant), and full size Boulee court. In the evening there is a delightful fully licensed bar and restaurant to enjoy and give a relaxing end to the day (open between Easter - October, 6:30pm and 8:15pm (Closed February half term and Sundays) reservations for the restaurant to be made before 5pm each day). Relax in the spacious, light and airy lounge, with a modern central wood-burning stove. The large, stylish kitchen with double range and granite worktops is the place to gather for a leisurely breakfast, or escape into the cosy study with its 40” plasma TV and Playstation 3. There are four spacious en-suite double bedrooms furnished with designer fabrics and each one with a unique theme - French, rustic Mexican, mahogany sleigh bed, and one with a contemporary nickel bedstead. On summer evenings, dine al fresco on the long stone patio running the length of the barn, with patio table and chairs looking out over uninterrupted views.
Chapman House (ref hnz) is a superb, spacious conversion of an 18th-century stables and coach house with breathtaking views of the North Devon coastline out to Lundy Island, and beyond to the Atlantic Ocean. The living area on the first floor takes full advantage of sea views with a large balcony opening from the spacious kitchen/dining room - ideal to enjoy a lazy breakfast or relax and watch magnificent sunsets. Completed to a very high specification, the holiday house is very comfortable and has beamed ceilings and a cosy wood-burning stove. The large, secluded, lawned gardens include a children’s play area. Both properties enjoy shared use of a games room with pool table, table tennis and darts. Guests are also welcome to explore the 20-acre woodland and pasture (with sheep).
With sea views, this is an enchanting holiday location with a private, 30-minute walk to a secluded pebble and sand beach and the spectacular South West Coastal Path (access only available from 2nd Feb - 31st Aug), where a chain of magnificent cliffs stretches along the Heritage Coast to Hartland Point. A pretty, 60-minute walk across fields leads to a little-known sandy beach (Porledge Beach), which is a wonderful sun trap and well off the tourist map, making it usually very quiet, even on the busiest summer day. The famous surfing beaches of Westward Ho! (4 miles) and Bude are an easy drive. Bikes can be hired to explore the nearby Tarka Trail and there is sailing, water skiing, golf and riding locally. Numerous NT properties in the area as well as the RHS gardens at Rosemoor and Docton Mill. Visit Hartland Abbey and the charming village of Clovelly (6 miles). The Atlantic Village Outlet Shopping Centre which includes a large supermarket is just 2 miles.

Palm View is a delightful holiday property situated just outside of the town of Paignton, a seaside town making up part of the beautiful English Riviera and close to the beautiful village of Stoke Gabriel. This pet friendly bungalow benefits off road parking and picturesque garden and is just a 10-minute downhill walk into the town.
As you enter Palm View you find yourself in the bright and airy open plan living/dining/kitchen area. With fully equipped kitchen and central island, perfect for rustling up a good meal. The living/dining area is alongside this with comfortable sofa seating, Freeview TV and glimpses of the sea. This area as a whole is very social with doors opening out onto the rear garden, a great set up for hosting those summer barbecues for family and friends. The rear garden is a lovely area to sit out in with various plants/shrubs and seating on the decked area. There is also a large studio in the back garden which guests can use as a games room/lounge area with sofa seating. Back into the property and there are three good sized bedrooms, sleeping up to seven guests! The main bedroom contains a double bed and has fitted wardrobes for guests use. The second bedroom also contains a double bed and the third bedroom has a double bed with single bunk over, a great room for children or adults alike. The family shower room in the property boasts a walk-in shower and stylish his and hers sinks.
Just up the road from Palm View are Primley Woods, a large field and wooded area which is great for walking those four legged friends. Just a short walk downhill into the first part of the town is where you can find several takeaways, shops and pubs as well as a laundrette if needed. A bit further into town and onto Paignton seafront and beach with its arcades, pier, mini golf course and various pubs/restaurants often hosting live music. Paignton harbour also has some good quality new restaurants, especially for seafood. If guests are wanting to explore the local area as well as Paignton, the nearby towns of Torquay with its marina, the famous fishing town of Brixham and Dartmouth and Kingswear are a relatively short drive away, as is the nearby city of Exeter. The town is only a 15 minute walk and only a 20 minute walk from the coast.

Tawny Cottage at Woodbury Farm Cottages boasts both character and contemporary aspects. Based in a rural setting on the owner’s farm, the surroundings give guests the feeling of peace and space while still being just a stone’s throw from the main town of Dartmouth itself. At the front of the property is a patio with seating, making this a great place to enjoy looking out across the rolling nearby fields with a morning coffee or a late-night glass of wine.
Upon entering the property on the ground floor are the three bedrooms. One bedroom contains twin single beds, another with a kingsize bed with its own en-suite shower room, and the final bedroom again contains a kingsize bed with access to the main bathroom from the bedroom and the hallway. Upstairs then leads to the large open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with high vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light, this space feels spacious, bright and airy. Here the kitchen is well-equipped, just next to the dining area with table and chair seating and a cosy wood burner in the living space with Smart TV and sofa seating.
The main town of Dartmouth is just a 10-minute drive away, as are the local supermarkets and petrol stations, just a 5-minute drive in the same direction. The popular Dartmouth golf club is only an 8-minute drive in the opposite direction, as is the family fun adventure park, Woodlands. Guests wanting to venture further afield can take the ferry from Dartmouth acrpss to Kingswear and onto the famous fishing town of Brixham, or alternatively drive into the market town of Totnes and explore the rest of the South Hams
Beautiful local beaches include Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands which stretches for three miles along the coast, part of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Also located on the estate is ’A Touch of the Wild’, a camp-based forest activity club. Children can take part in bush-craft courses and activities ranging from camp fire cooking and toasting marshmallows to bug hunting and learning woodland skills - a day with the experienced staff will ensure youngsters come away with a new found love of the great outdoors. The Ashcombe Village Club opens on various evenings providing cheap beer in a cheerful atmosphere, event evenings, traditional summer fêtes and shows. Guests at Ashcombe can also enjoy foraged and wild walks that take place every Tuesday and last for around two hours. You can discover the simple pleasure of foraging from the abundance of wild foods in the Devon countryside, and also experience the perfect evening out dining under canopies in the Ashcombe Woodland at the Woodland Kitchen, open on Friday and Saturday evenings.
