    Toad Hall is a deceptively spacious yachtsman’s cottage inside the picturesque Island Harbour Marina. This comfortably furnished and well-equipped family holiday home is very easy to reach, being only 3 miles from either the East Cowes or Fishbourne ferry terminals. Right on the marina is The Breeze bar and restaurant which is only 5 minutes’ walk from the house. Not only does The Breeze pride itself on its home cooked meals, it also has a large children’s play area. Also inside the marina, the shop at Richardson’s Boat Yard sells basic groceries and sweets as well as hot and cold drinks.

    Toad Hall is arranged over 3 floors. Downstairs the comfortable sitting room has a gas burning stove, TV, a selection of games, toys, books and DVDs. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with both bath and electric shower. On the same floor the kitchen/diner is equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and microwave. The utility room has a washing machine and a freezer. On the first floor there is a further double bedroom with its own bathroom with bath and electric shower. A z-bed for an additional child is available. Outside, to the back of the property there is a small enclosed garden with table and chairs, an ideal spot for a drink or eating outdoors. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, towels, bed linen and Wi-Fi are all included. There is a large car park 1-minute from the house which all residents use after loading and unloading at the house. The nearby pond and marina are unfenced. Toad Hall is a non-smoking house. Well behaved dogs are very welcome.

    Island Harbour is an ideal location for exploring the Island. The renowned Folly Inn is about a mile’s walk up the river and Queen Victoria’s church at Whippingham is slightly beyond that. A path running along the river in the other direction is ideal for both cyclists and walkers going to Newport for its choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. Other places on the island such as Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle are easily accessible by car.
