Stalmine is located approximately 5 miles from the small market town of Poulton-le-Fylde which has a good selection of shops, bars, and cafés. The small market town of Garstang can be reached in a 10-minute drive and provides a full range of amenities including a supermarket, pubs, restaurants and a selection of independent shops and casual eateries. The cities of both Lancaster and Preston are also easily reachable in around a 30-minute drive. The Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty covers 312 square miles, and once more provides the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life with peaceful, remote walking and cycling available. The Lake District National Park can be reached in around an hour, or for those wanting to swap the countryside for the coast, the seaside resorts of Blackpool and Lytham St Annes are around a 45-minute drive. The bustling market town of Skipton, known as ‘The gateway to the Dales’ is just 8 miles away where guests can enjoy the local market and a selection of pubs, shops, cafés, and restaurants.
