The small village of Elswick is set between the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the beautiful Fylde Coast. You’ll find two food serving pubs and an established ice cream parlour, all of which are around a 15-minute walk from the property. Further amenities can be found in the market towns of Kirkham and Poulton-Le-Fylde which are around a 15-minute drive and home to ample places to eat and drink, together with a vibrant nightlife.
The Fylde coastal resorts of Blackpool, Lytham, St Annes and Cleveleys can be reached in around a 20-minute drive and between them is much to see and do. In wonderfully cosmopolitan Lytham there is a variety of bars, cafés, boutique shops and restaurants, and in St Annes you will find a beautiful sandy beach with colourful beach huts. The area is internationally famous for golf and the towns also host various events throughout the year, including the Lytham Proms and St Annes Kite Festival. Blackpool needs little introduction with its many attractions including the famous tower, Madame Tussauds Waxworks, the Sealife Centre, Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Zoo. For a change of scenery the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is much loved for its stunning countryside and picturesque villages, can be reached in about half an hour. Marrion House is set in the peaceful village of Overton, an historic fishing village, and 1 mile to Sunderland Point, surrounded by salt marshes between Lancaster and Morecambe. There are wonderful views of the Lancashire countryside and the Lake District fells in the distance.

In the village there is a family-run garden centre, a church and a pub which has lots going on for the whole family. Sunderland Point is set at the mouth of the River Lune on the southern shores of Morecambe Bay. It’s remote and secretive split of land allows the chance for nature to thrive, and thus, is a perfect spot for bird watching. The popular seaside resort of Morecambe hosts many attractions from picking up the freshly caught shrimp at the daily farmers market to afternoon tea’s on the seafront, there is lots to offer. There is an abundance of fun to be had for the family including bowling, cinema and arcade centres or why not try out the quirky cafés, pubs and cocktail bars along the sea front?
The property is just a 5-minute drive from the M6 motorway making it easily accessible to the south Lake District National Park and North Yorkshire. For golfers, Heysham Golf Club is just 2 miles away, and there are also courses at Morecambe, Lancaster, Kirkby Lonsdale and Silverdale. Beach 3 miles.

Situated down a private lane on the outskirts of the small village of Pilling, these properties are ideal for exploring the North West coast. Blackpool, Lytham St Annes, Fleetwood and Poulton-le-Fylde are all within a short drive. Alternatively, the Trough of Bowland, Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are all easily accessible by car.
