    The property is Ideally situated close to the local amenities in Padiham, and handy for its supermarkets. Close to Burnley with its famous football club, and renowned spa at Crow Wood, and in particular the market town of Clitheroe and the Ribble Valley are also close at hand. Manchester is just a 45- minute drive, or less by direct train, and the Lake District just an hour and fifteen away. So whether for a restful break close to a thriving culinary scene, (check out the acclaimed chefs at restaurants at nearby Fence, Wiswell, and Langho to name but a few) or as a base for touring or sightseeing or walking, The Shieling does it all! Just a little further, and you can explore the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or why not visit the Yorkshire Dales.
