The beautiful sandy beach, where a public footpath, just 50 yards from doorstep, crosses over farmland to the dunes and sandy beach, a firm favourite with families throughout year. During the winter months, the famous Horsey seal colony extends from neighbouring Horsey to Winterton, and there are numerous seal pups on the beach and in the sand dunes. The area is also home to a rare bird colony of Little Terns.
